Yes they are, they are legal marriages as legal as anyone else’s
Your opinion of their marriage is no more important than my low opinion of your marriage, the only opinion that has any weight, any weight at all, is the legal opinion, and they ARE married.... period
And, of course, you base your "low opinion" of his marriage on his position. As a true American would do. "You only matter if you believe what I believe", right? And, "Anyone who disagrees with The Big D can go to hell", right?

Shorter paragraphs, double spacing between them, I like that but words! Too many words! Pretend they cost $10 each and say the same thing.
Sorry. Can't help it.
I'll tell you what... When you pay me to write (or not write) whatever is on my mind, I'll consider your criticism.

Until then, I'll say what I want in a manner that pleases me.

If you don't want to take the time to read what I've got to say, then by all means, move on.

Last time I looked, I pay my own Comcast bill each month. I paid for this computer that I'm using. And I certainly pay for the electricity to run my little operation.

So for now, I'll type whatever I please.

You feel free to do the same.

So, you DO believe that 90% of us are operating under a mass delusion? Well, since 90% of us have a belief in religion of one sort or another, that particular belief serves the community at large. Unlike SSM, which caters to a small percentage. Thus making religion more valid than your cult.
90%

Welcome to the 21st century

It has not been 90% for a long long time

Not at all, I base it on the fear he has for his marriage, that others being able to marry will damage his marriage so very much, it must be terribly fragile

This from the People's Republic of California. Helllloooooooo.....the people put the issue on the ballot and voted twice in the affirmative. Those pesky patriots voted for this:
"only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."

Oh alright. The VC overran the camp. Jizzy was cowering in one of the hootches. He was scared as hell but he had a plan! He got naked, painted his dick purple with iodine from the first aid kit and ran out among them, surrendering. They laughed and took turns sodomizing him and until they were all spent. The End.
Oh hell yes! Whistles from the crowd, for that one!
:-D Thanks for that...

His patriotism only counts for those marching in lock step with him. The rest of us can go to hell.

Whining? You must have me confused with someone else. But, if we are to allow for SSM, then we must also allow for poly and incest, as it is only right. Change the rules for some, then we must change for all. Anything else would be elitist. It would be discriminatory. Tantamount to saying that Mexican illegals can be Americans, but not Honduran illegals. I'm sure that you understand that.

Please, define the word "fear" as you misuse it, in here? Because, I'm beginning to suspect that we're not speaking the same language. I'm using English, and I wish to understand your language, as well.
Well, I think there are several things that folks might be afraid of.

1.) I keep hearing evangelicals talk about how God is going to rain down His judgment on our country if we continue to give in to the "gay agenda. So, I'm sure that there are people out there who are afraid of that.

2.) I've certainly heard people talk about how gay people want to indoctrinate their children--turn them gay. So, I'm sure that's also a source of fear.

3.) There's the fear of change; the fear of doing something different.

4.) Some people seem to think that same-sex marriage will impact the family. They believe that it will somehow sully the "sanctity of marriage".

5.) Regardless of what most educated people know about HIV/AIDS, there is still the fear catching the disease through associating with gay people.

6.) And I've brought up the fear that I believe some "straight" men have when it comes to homosexuality. Some self-loathing, closeted gay men who live a heterosexual lifestyle fear being outed. They fear having to face their own inner demons.

7.) I think some insecure straight people fear being around gays. They fear that a gay person is going to "hit on" them. They have this idea that gay people think of everybody as a potential sexual conquest.(As an aside, what I always find funny is that it's the most unattractive guys who are afraid that some gay man is going to make a pass at them. What's up with that?)

That's 7 fears that I can come up with right off the bat. Maybe you can think of others.

You cannot be serious? LOL Me? Big government type? You're having a laugh, now, mate. You're the ones using the government to legislate society, not me. You're the ones asking the government to step in and "protect" the SSM crowd, not me. Please, get back onto the reality train.

When I was a young 18 year old sailor, 160 lbs. of twisted steel and sex appeal and on liberty in San Francisco in the 60's, I was mercilessly hit upon. Didn't bother me, flattering really. Except when at the urinals in the bus station! Geez! I got stage fright for chrissakes. Had to wait until I got on the bus.

You are SO afraid of change..... why does it scare you so much? If you can't change your mind, are you sure you still have one?
I'm no more afraid of change, or your types, than you are, of the dog shyte on the sidewalk. Are you afraid of the poo? Does it make you shriek? Of course not. you merely notice it, with disdain, and avoid stepping in it. No phobia, correct?
