still there ? Are you referring to ADVENTURELAND on Route 110 ? I lived not to far from there for 40 years but I tink i was only there 2 or 3 times in all those years. It's still there after more than 50 years.

last time I was there was July, 1980. Not sure how many times before that, but probably no more than 2 r 3 times in 40 years although I lived not far from there.

My parents often took me to an amusement park in Mineola (when we live din Queens Village), but although I went there many times, I was too young to remember the name of it or exactly where in Mineola it was (I think it was on Old Country Road, but am not certain).

I DO remember when I was a young kid and going to FREEDOMLAND, the 1964 World's Fair (we never went often enough :() and Palisades Amusement Park in New Jersey which had the highest roller coaster at the time (I went on it once, and the bar flew forward on the first drop because the attendant did not lock it in place).

But ADVENTURELAND in 1980 is the last time I was at an amusement park.(Me and my boyfriend and another friend traveled up from Huntington, West Virginia sort of unplanned, and definitely unannounced. Oddly enough, the day we showed up unannounced, my parents also had a great-aunt, and her 10 year old nephew, also show up to visit unannounced and unplanned. SO my parents wound up with 5 unexpected visitors for several days to accommodate in one 3 bedroom house).

I've never been to any of the Disney places.

Cletus, they haven't used separate tickets for rides at Disney parks in about 25 years. Get with it.

Could you imagine THE MAYOR telling the truth and NOT lying and making up fake names and fake home towns all day long? Impossible. He lies even when it is NOT needed anymore, for no one except Helen Keller would be fooled by his lies.

Why would you believe in heaven or hell? You aren't a Christian.

Yep, been so since day one. If calling an ADMITTED gay man "gay" is supposed to be upsetting or something, you have obviously run out of taunts and insults.

I like being gay since it lets me be in a completely different demographic than you are, which is a blessing. I hate to admit that you are even in the same species as the rest of us humans. It's hard to believe sometimes since your complete lack of humanity and your joy at death and unhappiness is so far removed from any philosophy or religion or normal human emotions. What hardened you to the Golden Rule? When did you go so SOUR?

BTW, I don't need to wish you in hell, you've created your own hell right here on earth. I never saw anyone so unhappy as you, what joy do you get out of other people's pain? What made you so angry and unhappy? for once, I sort of pity you.

So many of Disney staff ARE gay, Cletus. It has been that way since their old days. Did you just wake up from a long nap, Rip Van Stinkle? Most of Hollywood and Broadway and TV are full of gays and lesbians. I worked in TV for 20 years and knew plenty of industry people, so I know of what I speak.

Get a clue. Who do you THINK creates stuff like "The Little Mermaid" or "Beauty and The Beast"...HETEROS?
