Considering the millions of Africans lost the Muslim Arab trade, denial of the Muslim slave trades is as odious and disingenuous as the denial of the Atlantic trade, or the denial of the the Nazi holocaust or the mass murders of Stalin.
Segal has twisted and slanted I his work to make it seem to say something that it did say. That is why we must read that kind crap carefully. Ant time the author is Jewish or non-African, watch him, read him with a grain of salt until he PROVES his point. Segal never proved his point simply because he had no evidence at all that any significant number of slaves crossed the Sahara Desert. Nobody has that evidence. It is a lie.

Imagine 10 million slaves mounted on 10 million camels crossing the Sahara Desert. How do you feed them? Where do you find enough water for them to drink? That is impossible. So why waste all this valuable time on such lies? This is insanity

Over 28 Million Africans have been enslaved in the Muslim world during the past 14 centuries While much has been written concerning the Transatlantic slave trade, surprisingly little attention has been given to the Islamic slave trade across the Sahara, the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean.
While the European involvement in the Transatlantic slave trade to the Americas lasted for just over three centuries, the Arab involvement in the slave trade has lasted fourteen centuries, and in some parts of the Muslim world is still continuing to this day. A comparison of the Muslim slave trade to the American slave trade reveals some interesting contrasts.
While two out of every three slaves shipped across the Atlantic were men, the proportions were reversed in the Muslim slave trade. While the mortality rate for slaves being transported across the Atlantic was as high as 10%, the percentage of slaves dying in transit in the Transsahara and East African slave trade was between 80 and 90%!
Most of the slaves destined for the Muslim Middle East were for sexual exploitation as concubines, in harems, and for military service, very few descendants of the slaves that ended up in the Middle East survive.
Slaves destined for the Middle East were castrated, and most of the children born to the women were killed at birth.
It is estimated that possibly as many as 11 million Africans were transported across the Atlantic (A comparison of the Muslim slave trade to the American slave trade reveals some interesting contrasts. While almost all the slaves shipped across the Atlantic were for agricultural work, most of the slaves destined for the Muslim Middle East were for sexual exploitation as concubines, in harems, and for military service.
While many children were born to slaves in the Americas, and millions of their descendants are citizens in Brazil and the USA to this day, very few descendants of the slaves that ended up in the Middle East survive.
While most slaves who went to the Americas could marry and have families, most of the male slaves destined for the Middle East were castrated, and most of the children born to the women were killed at birth. It is estimated that possibly as many as 11 million Africans were transported across the Atlantic (95% of which went to South and Central America, mainly to Portuguese, Spanish and French possessions. Only 5% of the slaves went to the United States).
While Christian Reformers spearheaded the antislavery abolitionist movements in Europe and North America, and Great Britain mobilized her Navy, throughout most of the 19th Century, to intercept slave ships and set the captives free, there was no comparable opposition to slavery within the Muslim world.
Even after Britain outlawed the slave trade in 1807 and Europe abolished the slave trade in 1815, Muslim slave traders enslaved a further 2 million Africans. This despite vigorous British Naval activity and military intervention to limit the Muslim slave trade.
By some calculations the number of victims of the 14 centuries of Muslim slave trade could exceed 180 million. Nearly 100 years after President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation in America, and 130 years after all slaves within the British Empire were set free by parliamentary decree, Saudi Arabia and Yemen, in 1962, and Mauritania in 1980, begrudgingly removed legalized slavery from their statute books.

No scholar worth his salt is going to pay any attention to stupid propaganda lies like this one. Whoever wrote this lie did not offer one piece of evidence to prove it. So all intelligent people will reject this stupid lie. At best it is rumor mongering

There was never any plantation slavery for the very simple reason that plantation do not exist in desert/nomad society. Therefore, very few if any laborers, be they free or be they slave, are required. Compared to the Americas which was jungle wilderness, huge gangs of workers were needed to clear the land and farm it. That is why we had slave trade to the Americas but not to the deserts of Arabia. The very, very, very limited slavery that existed in Arab society was mainly domestic slavery, not plantation slavery. And when Islam came, slaves were given rights that led to their freedom whereas in the Americas slaves were stripped of rights. For example, no slave master could have sex with a slave girl without marrying her. Once he married her, she became free automatically. In the Americas, new laws were made to keep a woman in slavery after she was raped and bore children. Specifically, all of her children were held in slavery. The difference between American slavery and eastern slavery, Arab slavery and African slavery is the difference between night and day. One is Enlightenment while the other is darkness. Likewise, you are stupid and ignorant while I am intelligent and knowledgeable.
WRONG wrote:

That is true. In the East people wanted females to perform women labor like cleaning houses. That was domestic slavery. As I already said above, if a Muslim man touched such a female slave he had to marry her and free her.

That is another lie. Islamic Law clearly protects slave girls from sexual exploitation. It probably did occur. But it was NEVER legalized as it was in the Americas

The only males who were castrated were those whose jobs it was to deal with women. And many of these eunuchs became very important members of society such as generals and Prime Ministers. One perfect example would be Zheng He who led the Chinese to the Americas before the white man even knew America existed.( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zheng_He )

That is another lie. The truth is most elites among the Arabs are blacks and direct descendants of black Africans. Of course, these blacks were not slaves. Consider Holy Prophetess Hagar, for example. zionists lie and claim that she was Abraham’s and Sarah’s slave. This is because those racist dogs cannot imagine black people being anything but slaves. But when we study the Holy Scriptures carefully and outside the control of zionism, we learn that she was pharaoh’s daughter. That means she was a princess, not a slave. But even if she was a slave, as soon as Abraham married her, she became free automatically. That is why as soon as her child was born and she got bored with Old Man Abraham, she took her baby and took a hike. And there was nothing that Abraham and Sarah could do to stop her because she was a free woman and not a slave. This is how the Arab Nation started. He son Ishmael is the Father of the Arabs.

That is another stupid lie. It was in fact Queen Nzinga of Angola and Congo who first went to war to stop the slave trade. This was long before any European power opposed slavery. It is clear that the British learned from Nzinga that slavery was wrong in the Bible. She had read the Bible and understood it whereas most Europeans could not even read it much less understand it.

As long as France was the colonial power in Mauritania, it was impossible to abolish slavery. However, once Mauritania became independent, slavery was immediately abolished. Had it become independent under Islamic Law, abolishment would not have been necessary because Islamic Law has already ended/abolished slavery.

What are YOU doing with your miserable no good life? Scum like you embarrasses me because I grew up right outside Memphis. I am afraid people will use that against me and think I am as dumb as you are. How all of you country bunkins have to be so ignorant? Don't they still have libraries in Tennessee? Read some African history and get back to me. Look up Queen Nzinga. In her bio the white man will lie to you and not tell you about how she started the war against the slave trade. They want you to think a white person did it. So let me dumb all this down to Tennessee level.

In order to get to the bottom of the story about Queen Nzinga you have to read about the Haitian Revolution. There are several relatively good books on that. When you get into the nitty-gritty of the Haitian Revolution, you will learn that they were inspired by the "Queen of the Congo" who was none other than Her Majesty Queen Nzinga. When you read about all of the slave rebelleions of that time, you will see the same thing. The slaves who rebelled in Cuba mentioned the Queen of the Congo. This is also true of Brazil. Nearly everywhere that slaves rebelled they attributed their right to rebel and be free to the Queen of the Congo. But you ignorant ass nitwits in Tennessee with all of this modern technology and knowledge have never heard of Nzinga much less about her wars against slavery. Later if I feel sorry enough about your Tennessee plight, I might post some links on here so that you can read them for yourself. But that is a lot of paperwork. And I do not really have time to baby sit your dumb assss.

Your PHD must be in Bullcrap and zionism.

Anyhow, with such skills, I am, sure you can find the history of Haiti and the history of the slave rebellions in Brazil and Cuba and the USA. Denmark Vesey is particularly important. I think Nat Turner would be less important on this point. What is clear is that all intelligent and informed slaves of that time were aware of Queen Nzinga and her fight against slavery. I have this in my notes. But my conclusion is based on a large compilation of evidence that is not easy to list here. Once my mind clears somewhat, I will be able to give you a couple of names from memory. But I am having a medical crisis that has blurred my mind. And I really do not want to re-read all those notes right now.

I will say this, though. I recently wrote a thesis called "Pan-Africanism: Haiti as the Origin of the African Revolution" or something like that. But to be honest, I cannot even remember the title of the paper for sure. But I do have it in my notes. It proves that the slaves were all talking about the Haitian Revolution and that the principles of that revolution are the underlying principles of Pan-Africanism to this day.

I am sure that I could not have done even this much had I been educated in some stupid "negro" college.

Okay. Now I am ready. I have just completed my Ritual Ablution so that I can deal with that which is scared. I know you zionistic Christians do not pay much attention such details. But we Muslims try our best. If you recall in your own Bible, when GOD appeared to Prophet Moses (Sal Alayhi wa Salam) GOD Commanded him to remove his shoes because he was on Holy Ground. Muslims still carry on that tradition to this day. So, I want the Muslims who may be reading this to know that I have removed my shoes and that I have performed ablution. Ritual Ablution is what Christians call Baptism. But most of them do it only once in a lifetime. But we Muslims do it as often as Five Times a Day. Imagine taking only one bath in a lifetime. That was early Christianity. So much for the ugly truth.

Muhammad (Sal Alayhi wa Salam) was a prophet like Moses (Sal Alayhi wa Salam) for that reason people often confuse Islam as having come from Judaism. That is not so.

The main reason I say Muhammad was like Moses is because both Moses and Muhammad preached the Freedom of the Slaves. Many others such as my brother, Dr. Jamal Badawi ( http://www.whyislam.org/comparative-religion-... ) focus more on other issues relating to the similarities between Moses and Muhammad. But for me, a son od African slaves, I am interested in the slavery issue.

In many translations of The Quran, the First Revelation to Muhammad uses the word "votary" or "servant". But again, I am more interested in how all this relates to slavery.

The First Revelation to Muhammad is Surah 96, Verses 1-5.( http://quran.com/96/1-5 ) These Five Verses shocked Muhammad so much that he was not able to handle any more weight. So GOD allowed him time to rest and recover. Then, God sent down Verses 6-19. And this is where our issue of slavery arise. Note that slavery was in the FIRST Revelation. And to clearly see this, we must consult a better translation.( http://www.quranexplorer.com/Quran/Default.as... )

In Quran.com , the translator says "servant" at Verse 9. That avoids the slavery issue. I think the translator was an Asian to whom slavery was a secondary matter. But I am certain that the translator of Quran Explorer is an Arab who faces the issue of slavery squarely. This is what he translated:

"96:8: Hast thou seen him who dissuadeth
"96:9: A slave when he prayeth?"

At Verse 15, GIOD said:

"96:15: No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock
"96:16: A lying, sinning forelock." ( http://quran.com/96/15-16 )

Further, it is made clear that those who hold slaves were at war against GOD and that they will burn in hellfire. Mankind is Commanded not to obey the slave master but to prostrate before GOD. Whenever a Muslim reads that, he must place his forehead on the ground. And we can be reasonably certain that when Muhammad heard that word "prostrate" that is exactly what he did.( http://quran.com/96/15-16 )

Here, I must remind you what GOD said to Moses. GOD said:

"Exodus 7:16: Then say to him,‘The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to say to you: Let my people go, so that they may worship me in the wilderness."

Note the similar Message to both Moses and Muhammad. However, without double checking in Hebrew, I have doubts about the word "wilderness". I would think that a better would be "freedom". In other words, I think it means that every Believer has the right to worship GOD in Freedom and without interference from profane humanity, other men.

In any case, it is clear that we as men cannot be True to GOD as slaves. Therefore, Monotheism must always free mankind so that no one can interfere in the Sacred relationship between man and GOD. In other words, slavery was clearly wrong in the Mosaic Law. And it was equally wrong in Islamic Law and I do not care how many times zionists lie and say something different

Have you ever heard of economic blockade by Uncle Sam? Well, you can imagine how alarmed the white man was when he heard that "negroes" were acting uppity. So perverts like Thomas Jefferson slapped a whole load of economic sanctions against the Freedom Fighters of Haiti. And we are still suffering from them.

That's another racist lie. It was economic warfare because they could not win on the battlefield, they resorted to the economic arena in an attempt to re-enslave the Haitians. They did the same thing against my own political movement when we freed Guinea from France. They took everything they could take when we kicked them out. They even took light bulbs out of the sockets. In Zimbabwe they stooped so low as to pore cement into water wells so that we could not even get drinking water. That is how angry the white man gets when you tell him that he has been a bad master. LOOOOL!!!
