We are truly sorry for your loss, and we know that nothing we say can bring Lenee back, but I pray that the messages left in this forum may bring comfort to the families of Lenee...Elisaia, Hunkin, and Pulalasi. Heaven's welcomed another angel into beyond the pearly gates....and one day soon we shall all be there when the trumpet sounds. God be with us all in this time of mouring.

juss want to send love to the family of Lenee Big Mama" the last time i've really got to hang out with lenee was in middle school Carnegie Junior High as time passes, people tend to forget classmates but i can never forget this girl because her smile was one you can never forget. She was always smiling and a personality so sweet, i've never seen her after that but seeing her picture once again but in a tragic manner juss shocked me, but i hope and pray that the goodness of her will shine on her loved ones through their loss, aside from all the rude comments from other's who have nothing else better to do or say, if your so concerned about safety you wouldn't be wasting you time and energy typing on the computer and should be watching your kids who might juss be playing on ths free-way, so concerned about safety, go be a good citizen and give a home for the homeless sleeping in and on free-ways, vans, alley's Den after that go suck a fat-one how do you live with yourself down-grading a deceased so selfish....so stoopid...yet so ignorant.....

I'm reading these posts and some are hurtful and most of them put a smile on my face. It's so good to hear people share their moments with BigMama. I definitely have alot of good one's. Especially the "blonde" moments. She will definitely be missed.
For the ones that are hurtful..know that alot of us have questions also. Believe me! It goes through my mind everyday. Why didn't her husband get her out on time? What was he thinking? Why was she not thought of right away? Was there a window in her room? I'm sitting here wondering all kinds of things. The only one's who knows are the one's who were there and told us about how they tried to get her out. I wanna break somebody!! But, my baby is sleeping now and I will try hard this weekend to control my thoughts. I'm asking GOD to give me a humbling heart. It will be hard to do bcuz I know me. We all know that there are codes of conduct to follow when converting or adding on. We all should know that when a situation arises we may not always act accordingly. Why? I don't know! So, thank you for your concerns regarding codes and conducts, but my niece will be remembered for the sweet loving heart she had. She will NOT be remembered as "the lady who was killed in a fire" because of some codes.

My last post was for, Mouth from the south, I repeat, How am I wrong? I live in a house, and before that, an apartment. Never once did I think,'maybe I should look and see if they're are any 'garages' for rent", to live in. I, actually, am quite sensible!

Now you're going waaaaaaaay off track, idiot!
Just leave it alone because, you have no sense & no clue about this situation. You ain't sensible if you aren't sensitive to the "life" that was loss!

We send our deepest condolences to your family during this tragic time. May the thoughts and prayers of all your friends and family surround you and help you thru this terrible time. Regardless of everyone's opinion of why the fire happened, we must not lose sight of the beautiful soul that is no longer here with us. She was such a sweet soul and will deeply be missed. Whether the fire started in a house, garage, dumpster, dog house, etc...it is irrelevant. The family can replace the garage, but we've lost someone who will be irreplaceable. Just as simple as the saying goes "when you point your finger, you've got three pointing back at you".
Our love, support and regards to the family as you try to move on from this tragedy.
Sincerest Respects. Vanessa "Pepa" and Family.

Mouth, I never said I didn't have sympathy for the life lost or her family, don't put words in MY MOUTH. I have no clue about how people think living in a garage is a good and sensible idea, however, I am extremely sensible about all other actions of life....I believe you are the clueless one....

When you say this "I have no clue about how people think living in a garage is a good sensible idea"
What do you know about struggle? People trying to make ends meet? Keeping family together? Having a heart to allow a family to live in your home, although there are not enough rooms in the house, you still take them in because you don't want them living in their car or on the street? What do you know about that? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! This was an ACCIDENT! A C C I D E N T!!!!
Get over yourself and shut up about what you DON'T KNOW!

You are wrong for coming to an article about a family tragedy and using it to express your ill will. You have done the same on other sad stories, too, and should be ashamed of yourself. If you were a man of integrity, you would offer an apology for your boorish behavior. But you aren't so you won't. Do you understand now? Something tells me that you'll do the same thing to another family tomorrow.

I've already posted once in response to a comment.
and i feel the need to say something again. anyone who is taking care of their family and trying really, really, really hard to make ends meet and keep that family together when all outside forces tries everything in their power to mess it all up...they deserve the respect that's due. this lady, nor anyone else, for that matter did NOT deserve to die in such a horrible way or any other way. she was young and apparently very much loved by her family.
i hope and pray that none of you HATERS on this board ever suffer the loss that this family has...stay off the boards!!! if you need to truly entertain yourself, go look in the mirror and say 3 times...i'm an idiot. leave this poor family alone. who cares if they lived out of a converted garage? HELLO!!!! the average rent in long beach for a 2 bedroom apartment is over 1000.00. whatever people need to do to take care of their own, oh well.
and one last parting comment, to the people who are hating on this family- remember: what goes around comes around.

There is a my space page made to add kind and helpful comments to the families. Please look it up and leave a message of love, as the kids have already been reading these message boards and do not really understand where the negativity comes from. Only loved ones and friends are welcome, anything negative will be immediately deleted. The name of the page is "Friends of the Fiaseu, Hunkin and Pululasi Families". You can find it at http://www.myspace.com/friendsofthefamilies . Please visit and leave some love.

Being one of the many cousins of the deceased, I did know Lenee, not as well as some of my other cousins did, but enough to know that she was full of love and compassion. Whenever we'd see each other either in Long Beach or in the Bay Area, she always had a smile and hug ready for me. People flock to people who are naturally filled with love, she was one of them. Nee loved her family and friends, that was one of the things I did know about her.
I await the day when the Lord will come again. There will be no more crying and sorrow. All will be renewed and we shall rejoice once more in seeing our loved ones again.
Lenee is just sleeping for the time being and I give all the praise and glory to the Almighty for His blessings. He loved us so much that He blessed us with her presence.

If you want to post, post a comment of love. That way we'll know that you came from a place of love like Lenee did. My heartfelt condolences goes out to the Elisaia, Hunkin, Pulalasi and the extended families who are now suffering over losing her.
