Sunday carwash to pay for funeral of teen shot to death in Wilmington

Friends of an 18-year-old man shot to death in a Wilmington alley will hold a carwash on Sunday to raise money for his funeral expenses.

Please explain: He "left" Banning High (probably kicked out) and he was allowed to attend a Long Beach Unified continuation school? Why is someone from LA allowed to attend a Long Beach school? Let me assure you, LBUSD has more than enough troubled yoof to fill up that school, they don't need help from outsiders.

Despite what the police and the friend said, this guy's death is the result of gang activity or he didn't pay his drug dealer. Possibly a beef over a girl, but that is the less-likely scenario.

I guess he was a "good kid" who coincidentally liked to dress like a poor hood rat. Not a good idea. Bad parenting choice. In any case, don't have kids you can't afford to raise–or even bury.
