Teen pregnancy still important issue

So, where are we with teen pregnancy in Pueblo? We should still be focused on this as a community issue and a high priority.

My stepdaughter is 13 yrs old and she lives with her grandmother. Her grandmother is raising her not as a daughter but she spoils her just as a grandmother would so I have stepped in as her mother since her mother hasn't been around since she was 6 yrs old. Anyway I talked with her the other day about this subject along with others and told her to let me know if she needs to get on birth control. She told me she is ready, but for me not to infm her dad or grandmother. I set up an appt. but I feel bad about keeping this from her father. But I need to maintain the trust and respect between her and I. Am I wrong?

I think any girl under 18 who gets pregnant should automatically be removed from that one particular highschool. She should move far away where people dont know her reputation and start all over again in a new highschool
