Thanks for your reply. I'll wait to see if more people respond. Meanwhile keep checking this thread to stay in touch.
Hi I ordered a full set of Led replacement lights for a model 10 Silver eagle and only received half the order and after many emails and phone calls, I gave up on it as a bad joke.

I paid out several hundreds of dollars for a produce that I can use because i only have half of it.

I enjoy my Silver Eagle but am very disappointed with the service or lack there of from these guys.

I thought it was only because we were so far away that we were treated like this very very poor business ethics.

Cheers

I was in contact with Craig Hanloh several times in the mid 2000's about various things. Early on I had the idea that he was trying to set up on a shoestring and somehow I felt that he wasn't 100% honest. He somehow managed to forget to include me on a visit to a European supplier who had a large stock of Eagle parts and tooling even though I live less than 100 miles away from the supplier's location and put him in touch with them. He later told me they didn't buy anything from them, which increased my belief that he really didn't have the money to do any big projects.

Back in the 80's I was writing for one of the bus industry trade magazines and had a lot of contacts at Trailways, including some who had been there for decades. I came to learn the history of the Eagle coach and how it eventually was built in four different countries. As Eagle was my favorite for so many years, I was saddened by the demise of Trailwayus, Inc. and later on of Eagle itself. I had hoped that Hanloh could relaunch the brand but after a while it looked like that wouldn't happen. Too bad he turned out to be a scroundrel and brought dishonor to the revered Eagle name.

@Geert

Good luck on finding an old Eagle from anywhere with seats. Only 185 of the 60-61 models were made in Germany. If any are still around they would have long ago have been converted into motor homes. Production in Belgium started late in 1961. One of the last German Eagles was diverted from the docks at Antwerpen and taken to Brugge. It was stripped to the frame and the parts were laid out in an empty space belonging to La Brugeoise et Nivelles (later BN and now Bombardier) in the suburb of Sint Michiels bij Brugge. Suppliers were invited in to have a look and and bid on making various items. Once this had been sorted out and drawings made, the bus was put back together and sent to Houston by sea. BN set up a production line and started making the coaches until the new Bus and Car facility was ready to be opened. At that point, production stopped as all the tooling was moved in and set up and then it restarted bu the end of 1961.

This is the same BN that built all of the PPC trams for Den Haag, Brussel, Antwerpen and Gent plus lots of railway equipment.

Good luck also on finding an Eagle 10S Suburban coache. Trailways only had 19 and I don't think any others were made.

I'll send you a mail so we can continue the conversation.

Thanks for posting their address, must be the 3rd place they've had in the last 3 years - rent in arrears again?
Anyway, they will be receiving notice from me and likely enough from some other creditors as well.
