Well kids, you want to be adults? Welcome to the real world and all of it’s dangers. See what “harmless fun”, being “cool” and “just doing what teens do” can lead to? Don’t be stupid and think before you act. That includes silly things like crossing the street or going just a bit too fast when it’s raining. You and you alone need to be careful. It’s true you can be killed by the stupidity of others, but do you want to be responsible for someone else’s death? The world is not going to look out for you. You need to look out for yourselves. Too many people, adults and children, get very defensive when such tragedies happen because they may honestly think “why didn’t someone help or do anything”. They should be asking “what this person did to get themselves into this situation. Think before you act or do anything that has a risk. If you do it and it kills you, it’s primarily your fault. Look at all the people that got killed crossing the street this year. Every one of them was at fault for their own demise except one that had shared blame because the driver was drunk. To those who get too defensive of people who get themselves killed, you are a part of the problem and not the solution. You don’t want to condone being the topic of a forum.
