Patient of Finkelstein
|
I was shocked to see that Harvey would make such a mistake that has caused such grief to hundreds of patients, a major mistake on his part, that will effect him for the rest of his life. I am a patient of Dr. Harvey Finkelstein and there is no defending his lack of judgement. I did recieve three injections from Dr. Finkelstein from Jan. 26th , 2005 to May 2005....i was teasted for the recommended blood tests in April of 2006 for a surgical procedure and was found negative. I will repeat those tests tomorrow as well. Dr. Finkelstein was always there for me when i needed him most and went above and beyond his duties as a medical Doctor for his patient's that suffer from great pain. I know he would put in 16 Hr. days to help his patients in terrible agony due to chronic conditions. He would call any time of the day or night , even open on a sunday to see one patient in pain to help there suffering. Dr. finkelstein has helped many people. He made a major mistake that will cost him and i feel terrible for him and the patients that were put at risk. I feel sick over the whole thing. If Dr. Finkelstein was a jerk or a non caring person, like so many money hungry doctors, then i would not feel remorse what so ever. this whole thing has left me in shock..... prayers to all Patient of Harvey Finkelstein

Is there anyone who is aware of any civil lawsuit about this guy? Many of his victims fall under the statute of limitations on suing this guy. There has to be a loop hole somewhere where he can pay for his incompetence...

Actually the statute of limitation for this will be considered "put on hold" because the patients were not informed and did not know they were infected. The date of the discovery of hepatitis in a patient is the start of the statute of limitations for cases like this.

Lab work was looked at prior to visiting him and after seeing him. I am now waiting results from my spouse who may have contracted from me.
