Gary was not a good man he was a evil man. He did not care whom he hurt, nothing was going to stand in his way. He was a crook a coward a thief a adulter a druggie and most of all a devil. He died just in time to escape a federal charge and that was after he was found guilty of stealing his grandmothers home and money. He was also guilty for stealing other peoples property. He had no feelings for family or anyone else. I say let him burn in hell cause I ain't offering any ice water!

No disrespect taken. Surely you don't believe that you are without sin? Nobody on earth is perfect, that is only God. We are all guilty of sin, it is only our faith and us asking forgiveness that guarantees our salvation. A practicing sinner, as you call it, describes all of us, even you. To sin or practice sin is to do it, think it or condone it. I dare say that anyone is perfect and doesn't sin, it is what makes us human and what drives us to seek forgiveness with our lord.

The hate in your heart will hurt you, you must ask for forgiveness and let the hate go. Anything that any of us have done will come to be judged by God, but we must not judge one another and we should not live with hate. The hate is the devil and that is what will consume you if you don't purge it from your soul. I don't know anything about what you are mad about, but I urge you to not only ask forgiveness, but to give forgiveness to those that wrong you. We must not let the devils hand guide our spirit and make us hate one another. I will pray for you and you do the same for me and let's be kinder to our neighbors and encourage them to do the same. A Christian loving God need not fear that he will easily lose eternal life. God is a good Father and delights in showing mercy. He has prepared our salvation for a long time and does not want us to lose it. God promises a way of escape for every temptation. If we sin we can come to Jesus, confess, repent and be cleansed, we can still be justified before God because of the blood. And if we walk away from God He will do all He can to draw us back. But the possibility is still there that a backslider may die in his sins - having refused to come back to the Lord, and possibly even having blasphemed Christ and the gospel.

I question how some people even claim to be a Christian when they live like they do. I face temptations every day, and NO I am not perfect. I strive every day to be like Jesus, I fail miserably. I have to pray every day and ask Him to strengthen me and help me to live closer to Him, and most importantly to forgive me for any sin that I have committed. I DO NOT believe you sin every day all day, if we do... how do we show others that God has performed any change in our life? There is a growth process in every Christian's life. The closer you draw to God, and the more you keep focused on Him, the less you will act on the temptations that the enemy sets before you.

Out of respect for Sheriff Clark and his family I really think you guys should delete this subject post and start a new one, I know everyone has an opinion on everything on here and usuallly a stupid one at that, but this post started before anyone knew Gary was sick and I feel that it is disrespectful to keep posting under this heading. No matter what anyone thinks of anyone, no matter who it is, They have a family, kids, relatives, who love and respected them no matter what public opinion is or was. Please show the same respect you would want for you or your family.

I worked for Sheriff Clark and can tell you that he was a far better sheriff than Jones and his henchmen that are there now

Politics are very important.I for one applaud the heated debate.However ,and this is from personal experience,dont yell your views so loud that you cant hear the other sides views.That isnt a debate and no ones going to sway anyone to seriously consider whats being yelled at them.Reasonable opinions and validated facts speak loudly for themselves.I havent made a choice as to whom I will vote for and I was hoping to garner more pertinant information to help me decide.I for one would like more specifics on the character issues of both candidates as well as platform issues from both. i.e. Why do they want to be sheriff? What would they keep the same?What would they change?What new ideas do they have?Did Hibriten win their playoff football game Friday night?
