PA leads the nation in strikes. This gives the state a bad name in trying to entice companies to locate here with family sustaining jobs. PSEA is perpetuating the myth that PA is a militant labor state.

Employers in making their location decisions look at the aggregate number of strikes as one of the criteria in their vetting process. The private sector unions in the state for the most part have made their peace. It is time to eliminate teacher strikes!
Bring in the subs

We need a governor with the guts of Ronald Reagan to bring in the subs if the teachers go on strike. There are so may teachers on the sidelines, Bethel PArk with have 10,000 applications from PA and other states where the salaries and benefits are much lower.

I am moving to North Carolina where the school property taxes are not so onerous and teachers can not strike.
