An air-quality study tied to the Valero refinery has revealed that Benicia was fourth worst in the Bay Area for ozone levels in 2008, according to results made public this week.

You can thank the California Air Resource Board. It's continuing to give Big Oil a free pass while handicapping cleaner alternatives. This is guaranteed to preserve California's legacy for having the most expensive transportaion fuel in the country and the worst air pollution. But, Hey! At least Valero apologized.
