I drove around there and noticed they are fixing it up. What's the news on Cermack Plaza?

Saw it too. Nice. Hopefully they can polish a turd! Heard a big retailer is going in there, and hopefully not Ghetto 4 Less foodmarket.

While driving around there in the day they do have a lot of Ghetto 4 Less foodmarket clientel.

I goto Berwyn to see if any improvements with the new mayor. Town is looking nice, but you still have low-lifes writing on walls.

I think it has a long way to go but it'll one day get there. Better than it was a few years ago. Cleaning up this Plaza will go a long way.

Put it this way. You don't want the people that go to NR mall to hang out in the plaza. You want to attract the decent people.
No teens flashing signs, no dealing, no fights.
The Carnavel shoe store seems to be always getting shopliftters.

Not the way Mexican kids do. They write all over the place from city street signs to people's garages. They do go all out. Drive by Oak Park and see if you see what I mentioned there. Let me see.. When that black family who was a engineer and wife a nurse had their house fire bombed they moved out. So Berwyn kept blacks out, but Mexicans were allowed to move in at the time. So when Berwyn started going bad there were no blacks. As for Ricans why did i see more Mexicans than Ricans in the early 90's? Once again that 1st Morton West shooting in 93 was Mexican. So your statements don't back up the facts. As mine always do.

They are opening a JIMMY JOHN'S across from WALGREEN'S !!
Now that's a great place.
This new Mayor seems to really have the ball rolling in making Berwyn great.
I'm sure he wants Berwyn to be like Oak Park which is a good thing.
Looks like the future is looking good for Berwyn.
