Andre' you indicated that Ida which made landfall this week was the only hurricane like storm to hit the US this season

I thought an earlier storm landed in west Florida this year

Hi Andre , i would like to know if it is possible now that TV8 is offering school closings by text message that the general public or even just ham radio storm spotters could get storm warnings sent to our cell phones. This used to be done by pager by the 2 paging companies but has since been discontinued. many of us work at places that make it impossible to be near a radio or tv but we all have our phones with us. This would be a great offering from Fox 8 and i am sure it would get all of the storm spotters over to Fox 8. if it is possible please keep the messages very short and to the point like "Tornado Warning Lorain County" or atleast short enough to only be delivered in 1 text message. This would be a great service to offer back to the spotters.

Thank You

Hi, Andre!! You and Dick and Scott are the best -- you're the only ones I trust to get it right!! I wanted to be a meteorologist, too, but my math skills aren't very good. Someday, though, I want to be a storm-chaser! Just once! I'd LOVE to see a tornado, as long as it's not coming right at me!! But, for now, I'm waiting for SNOW!! I know, I know, you guys are always talking down about it but, hey, we live in NE Ohio so it's a given! We may as well enjoy it!! It sure would be better than this cold rain -- yuk! We live a little farther south of the snowbelt, so would you guys quit hogging all the LE snow and send some our way? Thanks! See you soon!!

I've notice that a viewer wants the precipitation to go away everyday of the week could you explain on television during the five thirty set that at times we do need the rain or snow for envoiremental reasoning i know how much precipitation we need and i'm facinated with weather. we know that you do not control the weather. it's mother nature. in my back yard i recieve 1/2 inch of snow in north olmsted but it was last week an that is the season total for this winter.

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Aquarius

It's so easy to deceive yourself in some way today, especially if you allow wishful thinking to get the upper hand. Don't ignore some unpalatable facts, Aquarius, or the situation will be compounded. Are you trying to keep on the right side of someone you admire or respect? Does this mean presenting a false or highly selective image of yourself? I hope not.
