Madoff sentencing nears, but victims' pain goes on

Full story: news.yahoo.com

Bernard Madoff will get one last creature comfort before he is sentenced Monday, probably to serve out the rest of his days in prison. The judge has given him permission to don his own clothes for the hearing, rather than a jail uniform.

Madoff is just the fall guy for the Bilderberg Group. They fail to mention that over $ 9 TRIILION dollars is missing from the treasury. Madoff is a small fry fall guy. Here is the true story.

Why does the far right fight for the top 1% of wealth in the country get the most benefits from taxcuts.

This sheepish trust in "trickle down" theory is a promoted by those who are these powerbrokers who want the benefit.

You're playing with numbers. They do pay 50% of all income taxes in value. They pay reported roughly one-third (30.6 percent) of income.

What's important is the "tax rate".

# 10% on the income between $0 and $8,025
# 15% on the income between $8,025 and $32,550; plus $802.50
# 25% on the income between $32,550 and $65,725; plus $4,481.25
# 28% on the income between $65,725 and $100,150; plus $12,775.00
# 33% on the income between $100,150 and $178,850; plus $22,414.00
# 35% on the income over $178,850; plus $48,385.00

My family falls in the 33% taxrate. We're not millionaires but my rate winds up being higher than theirs because I don't have the loopholes that billionaires like Madoff and those like him have.

So yes, if 10 billionaires pay thier taxes, it's more money than 100 folks like me. But the rate of their income being paid in taxes is less than my rate.

Fight to give us little guys those loopholes that they have. Bush reduced their rate more than mine.

In speculating, I believe the Fed's leaned on her. And in doing so, she faced being charged or surrender everything the Maddofs had.
Or possibly a forfeiture was going to occur either way and to save her butt with 2.5 million or risk getting nothing.
I believe it is highly probable she has some serious cash and other assets stashed away.

America is spelled with a "C". Not sure what the "K" is supposed to mean in your book, but I think things are getting better. Keep our money here in the U.S.

Screw Madoff and screw sending my taxes to nation-build in foreign countries. You former admin apologists care about Shite Muslims a lot more than I do.

two to three years from now I want everyone to locate his wife,if you can' and take a look at her lifestyle, and tell me if you believe 2to 3 million covers the luxury she will be living in,as we speak the other crooks are erasing their involvement with madoff that goes high up the food chain-many people from the original list who held vital info to the whereabouts of the undisclosed amounts of money not mentioned in the general media releases are no where to be found-this case pursued privately will take a lifetime, don't be surprised if madoff cuts deals within the next 24 months, this is only the start of the long drawn out process,I wouldn't be surprised if madoff were to depart from this life under suspicious circumstances.

Bernie Madoff got his just reward today while 2 bigger criminals were never charged, tried or convicted for the harm they have done to America over the past 75 years: Harry Anslinger was responsible for starting the War on Drugs with his outright bold faced lie that cannabis made people crazy. Then some 40 years later, Richard Nixon asked for and recieved a full report on the effects of cannabis (they called it marijuana to add fuel to the racist fire) which showed that cannabis wasn't harmful and yes, it was even a medicinal miracle drug. Nixon threw their report in the garbage, told them to go phuck themselves and that pot would never be legal.

So while you all cheer Madoff going to jail, knowing you cant get your money back, don't forget that 2 criminals (Anslinger and Nixon) got away with a lot more - they ruined the lives of over 20 million people and still counting. The difference here is that we can change this unjust law of cannabis prohibition, the greatest civil rights violation since slavery!!!
