The houses in VA are overpriced anyway. How can houses in VA command the same price or higher than NY and NJ properties. NJ and NY are the capital of the world. VA is really nothing but country. There is no art no culture. What a joke.

I have to admit that the housing market is extremely high in the Fredericksburg area where I live. But, I shopped around and finally decided that the best bang for buck could be achieved by purchasing a home in Orange County. Perhaps the questions to ask are not to the major builders on how they can put more money in their pockets. I think that the general qualified home buyers should be part of the equation and asked how they beieve a better, lower priced market, may possibly be achieved. Gosh, what a concept. We the people, making a decision for industry. What a concept. Have they ever asked for us to opine?
On the other hand, the countryside in Virginia is beautiful; there is culture, and there is art. Recommend you identify what is inside of you first, then go find that art or culture you're looking for. You certainly won't find it in a club or bar and grille.
