Dowagiac ambulance service manager charged with embezzlement

The former office manager for the Dowagiac Fire and Ambulance Service was arrested and charged with embezzlement, the Cass County prosecutor's office said Monday. via WSBT

What can't someone do something by themselves? Maybe just maybe some of the fire department was in on it too. After all they kept their noses in the ambulance business all the time , maybe someone should look in to that one Huh?

Kathy was doing this in 2005-2006 And the Board at that time knew about it and fired an employee for it because he told the board what was going on. sorry Ed we should have listen..

One of the times this was originally alleged, Jared the President of the DVFD and oh yes a Police officer might we also mention ignored those allegations and certain members then took advantage of the opportunity to get rid of Ed for what they thought was him starting shit to make Robbie and Kathy look bad. But then you know those cops they take care of thier own and Robbie was his co-volunteer buddy. If a couple of the FT Fire Fighters sitting up stiars in thier recliners wern't so brainwashed into the Kathy/Robbie BS maybe then the board would of taken the balls needed to clean up ship and keep the place from sinking. Everyone knew you couldn't even move without that Full Time Fire Dept breathing down your back. They made the rules that the DVFD went by, But play stupid when the wife director who prior to Kathy did payroll just doesn't happen to know what Kathy is doing behind her back because she trusted her... Right Jackie although seemingly sincere, she always had her nose in all the mix of that place and financially knew the ins and outs, she ran it from the city office next door where she worked full time after another employee left to go to LifeCare. It was just a matter of time everyone except Dowagiac citizens new, Why is it that Cass and Dowagiac have some of the most uneducated people that don't comprehend real ALS, the medical control for Cass is such a nightmare. They will only learn when idiots show up and don't intervene a potential life threatening problem for thier loved ones. CEMS does have a few really good EMTP's and at one time if you were to get the history of area Paramedics they might have once worked for them. But you notice very few stay past getting some experience. By far getting rid of Cass and Dowagiac ambulances is a milestone for that area, even if there is some down side. Hey and if free is what you want then there you get what you pay for. The City bieng the cheap bastards they are is what led to incompetent non management employees running ambulance. They refused to take it over. For the most part just like any ems service there is good and bad. Its all about what you will forsake and what you won't.

You are right I mean when you have a Medic who olny passed her CCP test by using a booklet that had the answers in it already ok they were erased but she could still see the answer that was there and use them and score a 71 when she only needed a 70 that tells me she is not confadent enough to do the job herself , I'm not sure that I would want a cheat takeing care of my family members oh but she works for lifecare now so yeah your right there is good and bad in all profesions

yeah but when people tell it like it is sometimes other people don't listen. Say like how CEMS wont keep 2 trucks in Dowagiac like they said. and guess what when the board was told they didnt listen and theres not alwas 2 trucks here.
