In seeking Fourth District Judge, former Cass County prosecutor Scott L. Teter recognizes the need to sort out people who do stupid things from those who are mean and dangerous. via Niles Daily Star

this man, scott teter is corrupt to the core and had a hand in the corruption of the cass co. courts, esp. the family court, who is a laughing stock to the rest of the state of mi.
it is widly known and even joked about among other county courts and lawyers, may god help cass co. if this man hold's the bench.
there pay-off is to 'pad' there retirement fund's ,cass co.courts 'feed' on removing chrildren from good homes, for the state money involved. how this has been allowed to go on for so long is amazing to me.

His little league teams were known as "Teters Cheaters" As a child support payer, deducted from my payroll check, all I ever got was grief from his department. Let the guys get murdered at the farm and did nothing. He WILL NOT get my vote for judge

I agree with all of you. The entire Cass County Courts are all related. It like insest, there is no way anyone can or will get a fair trial in Cass County.

Wanted to post this comment under my real name but fear the repercussions as I am currently a Cass County resident.

In any case, you speak accurately and it's a shame more people within the county are not aware of both Teter and the Dodge family in its entirety. Only when they fall victim do people begin to fully realize, or care for that matter.

even if you know it how can you prove this about a bad judge.please need help with one in another county we know their doing bad things plus the lawyers!

I think the resurrection of the dedieval punishment is a fitting solution to Scooter and his ilk: draw him to the place whence he came; hang him by the neck but cut him down before death; emasculate him; remove his intestines and burn them before his eyes; pull out his heart and show it to him; decapitate him; quarter his torso; put the head on a pole at the Cass Cty boundary; hang portions of the torso around his birthplace.
