Do you know anyone who is supposed to be a Christian or atleast acts like it on Sundays and then is the most hateful underhanded person you know away from the church. Why should we even think about getting in to church if this is the way they act, no diffent than anyonelse and usually worse with all the lies and deceit? Is there really a differnce? I really want to know. Is it all just an act or a game?

Christians aren't perfect, they are saved. Once someone gives their life to God, they do not stop making mistakes, feeling anger, etc. Salvation is a free gift that was given to close the gap between God and man; the gap that original sin created. As Christians we are to strive to be sinless....but we all fall short, that's why we have grace.

So, to answer your question. The only difference between you and a Church going Christian is a relationship with Christ. All Christians need to know that their daily walk influences non-believers. However, you also need to realize that regardless of how "bad" a Christian acts, it doesn't change who God is....thankfully, the actions of Christ and of God does have the ability to change us if we will let it.

I suggest praying for those people who have trouble with their walk, not judging them. It would serve everyone to spend time dealing with their own shortcomings and leaving others alone. We will each be judged for our behaviors... so prepare yourself and leave others out of it.

what is one who cusses you out, I was considering going to church until I had this happen, this person is very involved in church and does this to me and lies and is a backstabber at that. Explain that one to me. Is it all an act with this one? Please clear this up for me.

Not knowing the situation, I cannot speak for this particular person. However, you can't judge a church based on the actions of one particular person.

You have to keep in mind that Christianity is about a personal relationship between you and God. Church is about God...not about us and not about the people that attend it. You have to take personal responsibility for your relationship with God...why would you let one person stand in your way?

the ones I have noticed that are the worse are the ones who dress like it but their actions are absolutely horrible, the ones who are just normal don't try to dress for the world to be fooled by them but they are just common quiet good HONEST people who would give you the shirt off their back, not pull out a knife to stab you with it, are the best witnesses that I have seen, the cussing dress wearing Pentecost has just destroyed my view of alot of it. would love to see something different, from them, went to church as a child but all of these things just sends me running the other way!!!

I do realized though that some people are just plain psycho though sounds like maybe that is the case of some, fighing and cussing like the above person was speaking of does need help, they either are just acting like a Christian or maybe they have split personalities, regardless they need help!

Are you a Christian? Do you think you are? Like you said, "actions speak louder than words" The action of you posting this on here to begin with shows that you are not acting like a Christian because you are seeking to publicly humiliate someone. We never know when it will be our turn so do to others as you would wish done to you.

Please don't lump all of the penecostal people together. My in-laws are penecostal and regardless of the people that you've had experiences with--my in-laws are good, loving, God fearing people. They walk the walk and talk the talk. I did not chose to raise my family penecostal, but I love the Lord and I know they do too, and all penecostal's are NOT bad people.

True Christians still make mistakes every day, but if you were wanting to go to church, then go, don;t let them stop ya just because they do things wrong sometimes. True Christians are humans and were not made perfect just because you put PERFECT on them. They can ask for forgiveness and be forgiven 70X70 which actually means all the time.Yes they are not suppose to repeat the sin after being forgiven, but Jesus did die on the cross for all of our sins. Anyhow, maybe they have bipolar not because they want to, but genes do not help the situation, if most of the rest of their biological family went thru it and have mental issues. And another thing,until you walk a mile in your shoes, try your best to shut up about them and go on with your life, and pray for them. That is your problem if you choose not to live a Christian life. Not theirs. Yes,their are Sunday Go To Meetin' Christians, and then hellraisers druing the week, that are not true Christians, they just want to be show people, but God does not people's true minds and hearts. So let him and Jesus deal with them, not you...................... You cannot blame another one for what you do or don't choose to do in life.
