I have been reading all of the complaints about David Blevins and all the retaliations to his defense. The true is that HE is just reaping what he sewed. See people when you plan to deceive it eventually comes back to haut you. Lets think back to when David Blevins became president. He was nominated only seconds after nominations were put on the table and by WHO. Let me tell you. The NEWLY elected Jack McGowan. A man who have never been on a school board and doesn't know all the procedures and at his very first meeting blurts out in a well rehearsed manner "I NOMINATE DAVID BLEVINS" Come one people, for those of you that were at that meeting think. Now you tell me how he new to jump on that?

Robin Richie that is how. In their little secret meetings David connived with her and Jack McGowan was right in there to get David as president before someone was nominated that THEY didn't want. People, wake up!!!!!! This is easier for her to control the board. If she didn't want to talk about something all Blevins has to do is stop the conversation. Such as announcing "There will be no executive session ."

David you wanted it, you connived with the SHE DEVIL herself so don't be surprised and feeling sorry for yourself and wining poor me. You asked for it. This community is finally figuring it out. YOU did it and you deserve it. Jack, I'd suggest you take a long look at why you are even on this board and why they asked you to run on the same ticket. You used to be an upstanding and respectable person but you failing fast! We as a people elected you to do what was best for ALL the kids NOT just your Grandson and your Son the worthless embarrassment of Bernie High School.

The time for a change is upon us. Find good canidates cowboy. Go talk to people in town that have enough support to win. Pick your canidates carefully. Former teachers are good choices Popular parents are also good choices. If you have to have secret meetings do so. Please end this nighmare. The other side has already started their secret meetings.

I didn't realize the school board president had SO much
power. What about the other six members who get to vote also?

That's what I was thinking. Who seconded the motion? Why didn't someone else make a nomination?
Did everyone vote for Blevins? If you're going to tell something just to make a person look bad, at least tell the whole story.

Well, first of all, I didn't know David Blevins spent time at a sewing machine! What is his specialty, do you know?
You reap what you 'sow' not what you 'sew'.
Do you know the difference between 'knew' and 'new'? I seriously doubt it.

Maybe they don't know how to spell. But they no how to vote, talk, and they know what is best for our children. They won't have to teach their children how to spell. David belevins is suppose to hire goo teachers to do that. I will tell you this much. You have not learned from the past. Previous canidates and administrators attempted to disregard their critics by claiming they lacked intelligence. The people didn't like it then and they won't like it now. If you want to represent a town full of doctors and lawyers move to the city. Until then you are stuck representing a group of people that you apparently view as peasants and slaves. We might be peasants and slaves to you but we still want what is best for our children. Yes it takes three other board members to go along with these failed policies you continue to vote on each year. But after you are beat in the election it would take four other people to go along with these failed policies. Good luck! Better check my message for mistakes intelligent people. I might not have a college education but I think my message is effective enough even if I don't know perfect English. What do you think?

I was at the school board meeting that Always Watching made reference to and it was NOT David Blevins that Jack McGowan blurted out a nomination for. It was for Crow, the current president at that time, who declined the nomination.

You clearly don't have a clue about how things work with the board or at school. The last thing you need is more ex-teachers on the board.
Here's why?
Teachers have a habit of standing up for each other, they have a hard time doing what's right when it is against one of there own.

Popular people, that sounds good except, there popular for a reason, by that I mean they often don't make anyone mad, they have a hard time doing what is right for fear they won't be liked.

No, what you need is people who aren't afraid to stand up and do the unpopular thigs, because there the right thing to do.

Yes Shellie you are correct. What you don't know is Crow went to the other members earlier that day and told them he would not accept the nomination. At that time, they made the decision they would nominate Blevins.

So what..two wrongs make a right? What are you doing? You are criticizing Blevins, the previous admin and anyone else that gets in your way. Does that make you any better? McGowan didn't run in this past election so I guess he was elected in 08 which means Burris was still on board as well as Snider. Why didn't they nominate someone? How did they vote? Are you President for only one year? If so, I guess he was elected again this year. I believe people are also starting to see the real truth. At least the people I have spoken to are starting to see things from a different perspective. If you keep running everyone down on here, from the teachers to the school board, I'm afraid the joke might just be on you.

Actually I did know that, I believe Blevins even mentioned the fact that Crow had called him just prior to the meeting. I would just like to know what people's problem is with Blevins all of a sudden and is it personal experience or hearsay?

You are correct and I did that to bring up yet another board member that failed us. Crow, and the plan was to get Crow and Blevins both to be nominated only. Crow elected to pass because he knew the truth about him was going to come out if he did. So Belvins was the next choice to continue on with Robins policies. Talk about manipulation and conspiracy. All of this, so SHE could stay in control and do things the way she wanted.

Yeah, take a look at Robin and all of her friends and relatives. Heck half of this mess was start all because her friends son Brad Botsch did something so discussting that any other school should have fired him and the state could have revoked his teaching license for. But Robin was bound and determined to help her baby and it didn't matter what she had to do to help him keep it.

Robin is gone. How about leaving the past in the past and moving forward?
Did it ever occur to you that no one else wanted the thankless job of President of the school board?
To set the record straight: I do not have a college degree, have never been on the school board and would never consider running.
I do know one thing, though - you never know how much there is to any job until you have done it.
You think you have it all figured out, don't you PARENT? Think again. Matter of fact, maybe you should try thinking period, instead of just going off half-cocked, spouting your opinions and making all your criticisms.

The problem is Blevins is up for re-election and so is Owens. They're trashing Blevins and threatening Owens because that's all they know how to do. It's their mo. But that's okay. It's going to come back to bite them in the butt. People are sick of it. Owens and Blevins have forgotten more than these morons will ever know.

You can't leave the past in the past if the past is what is still causing the problems. What you really meat to say was. Leave us alone so we can still do the things we have always done. What you guys have always done is what has gotten this school and community in the mess it is in! The new administration has shown that the Block scheduling does not work and has not worked. The financials of this school is NOT what Robin Richie said they were. And for the life of me why were we sending ISS to Malden in the first place?????

Blevins was the only one to vote for the teacher to keep both benefits. Good golly, That is worse that what Obama would have done. Some of the teachers are fighting for block scheduling and running to board members and why? For their benefit only. They are suppose to be in this for the well being of ALL the kids. Some may use it correctly Others wont. Remember this is for ALL the kids NOT a few. This is public school NOT private. It is for all the kids not just the favorites.

If your not on the board for ALL of these kids and what is best for ALL of them then please just get off or resign. The board is suppose to be in the position they are in for ALL of the kids not just the Teachers and especially NOT the AD. Good golly why that guy has kept his job after what he did can only be for favoritism and the buddy system. Now he is calling the shots on who to fire.

Doing what is right is not always comfortable but if you can't just give your position someone who has the ball to do it!

Jack McGowan is the one who has disappointed me and a lot of others around here. But I am sure when his grandson has graduated he will no longer run. I thought he had a granddaughter there too. humm.

Not trashing, just telling the truth. Blevins don't need to run anymore. As far as Owens goes, well, he didn't put himself in a postion like Blevins did "YET"
