For those of you who sound like they are a bunch of bible thumping hypocrits stfu. If you don't like a place don't goto it, and you sure as hell don't have to ruin it for the rest of it. Herre's a question for you bible thumpers, if jesus was the son of God then why didn't he go around and purify the water for the people instead of always turning it into wine. There is no where in the bible it says you cannot have alcohol. It just says not to get drunk, and lose control.
To those of you who said close it down, or get a real job. Working at a bar is just as much of a job, as someone that goes around picking up other peoples garbage. It has to be done, and someone has to do it. If you don't like the bar, and you have a real job, then open up an alternative for the locals to goto rather than the bar. I'm sure if all the churches here in town would quit fixing up their churches to make them bigger they could open up a bowling alley, or something.
I'm glad to see that someone that works there has taken an interest in fixing the place up. Maybe it will get more people in there, and people won't have to go thirteen miles or more to have a good time. Especially with the way the economy is right now.

I agree 100% with what you said, sorry about my "posted" name but that is what I was under earlier. I was just curious; since I don't live there, what happened? did the bar get remodeled and reopened or what. just wondered because I like to see new businesses make it in these small towns. Would you please keep me posted?

I gotta give you a high five on your efforts to get a bit of feedback from the locals. However, as you see there's a bunch of idiots in this forum usually, with nothing better to do than to dog people or in this case places down.
Here's "my" opinion to better your business. Get ole Dave or someone like him locked into a consistent schedule. There's nothing worse than getting all prettied up and see that nothing is happening down there. And as far as the beer temperature goes, your competition a couple doors down does indeed have colder beer which is important to most patrons especially in the summer months. Have Poo call her old gizzard eating friend to fix that problem for her. ;-)
A paint job isn't very expensive when you round up a few of the regulars to jump in (but dont give them any beer till the job is done! lol). Simple things such as moving the jukebox and games to a different wall (the pool table too) will change the appearance and folks will notice. ;-)
Damn I miss that bar!!

I agree let's shut down all the churches and open up a bowling alley. We have lots of good bowlers in town. It would be a better investment.

Been there and I like the place and the people, my suggestion is to go with a band every so often like once a month, holidays or special occasions. Nothing to extreme, you know what kind of customers you have and what type of music they are gonna like whether it be rock or country. Plenty of bands around locally that offer good entertainment.
whatever

I have to agree with dirty
boy, the place could definatly use some NEW bitches. The ones that go there now, and have been there for a long time, are old and ugly! Those that are'nt so bad to look at, are sluts that everyone has already had.

You go Dave!Pats will be way cleaner, nicer and have a classier clientele than the other place. And the owners won't get drunk and argue. If I wanted to hear that I would stay home and save the money on warm beer. One thing tho,I have always liked Paula, she is a good bartender and It's a shame she has to put up with all she does.ROCK ON DAVE!!!!!
