I remember when we would all go up town and "Circle Belle's"! Then we would make the loop. The Double L, Belle's, and the Car Wash! We would sit up at the station (Jack's now) and talk and "stuff"! Of course we usually ended up out in the country for a bridge dance. Ohhhh, I am showing my age!

Bernie was a blast back in the late 80's and early 90's. Nothing like it is today, the teachers and admin were the coolest back then. We got away with alot of crap and no one got hurt! Just good times! Parties at JM's apartment, out in the country, and in the Barn, lover's lane, thats just a few of my great memories.

The Mule Barn was THE BEST place to hang out with friends, and all the parties out at Stone Bridge, 1st ditch, Reiffer's Bend, King's Tavern, etc. Bernie was the best place to live back in those days. And remember Ivy's down south of town, next to the FlatTop? Lover's Lane, & Budweiser Bridge? Ahhh, the memories ...(lol)
Does anybody remember the "haunted" house that used to be there on the corner of Mulberry & Hunt's Ave, where the Rushings' house is now? Omg, what were we all so scared of? |
