This should be amusing - a blue ribbon committee. What's that about the fox guarding the hen house?

Anything short of a flat tax is unacceptable IMNSHO.

Blue ribbon? Hmmm....where is the red ribbon?

Not a bipartisan or multipartisan study?

Nice....study could not possibly be biased at all....

Anytime you hear the term 'Blue Ribbon', think stacked deck of insiders who are part of the original problem the panel is being created to address, then hold on to your butt & wallet.

Perhaps they will use the State Senators who voted not to hold back 3rd graders who can't read, then we will end up with worse taxation that at present, or maybe they will pick the "blue ribbon" winners from a dog show. This state will remain backward, economically and socially as long as the "good old boys" run the show. The "land of manana" is so low on accomplishments that it's no wonder some folks wonder if it is a part of the US.

Well said - a dumb electorate is a well controlled electorate, a fact that has served the Democrats well for many years now.

dumb teabaggers put their idiotic bumper sticker ideology over doing what is right for the country and its people. Typical that they want to impair the recovery and throw a monkey wrench into the functioning of society and then point to things being non-functional.

what an idiot reboot yourself tool, where has the constitution been violated just cuz you are to cheap to pay taxes even though you depend on the services taxpayers and yes the government administers, dont like the country and how the votes turnout? get used to it, it's only going to minimize extreme tea party terrorists more!
Actually Occupy movement showed more signs of domestic terrorism.....

And I guess the people that founded this country were to cheap to pay British taxes.....

How did that turn out and where is Britain now? The UK? Collapsing under the weight of socialist/communist infected policies.....under the weight of too big a government.....

But go ahead.....sit down in front of your TV watching Chris Matthews and NFL and drinking 24 beers a day collecting unemployment and other entitlements.....

we do have a higher level of educational attainment and many more think tanks, scientific institutes, museums and high achievers here than other parts of the state.
