So, who tops us. Who is in the top 3? Another disgrace. We miss out on the top 3. Alaska? Nevada? Tennessee? What do they have that we lack. Where is the state tourism department? Get on it and get us top billing. Top in violence and drugs....

Sigh......I'm sure no one's replied previously because not a dammed one of us is surprised! It's a societal thing. That's what happens when you've got parents and grandparents who are thugs raising thugs. There are a bazillion reasons but it 'aint gonna change, not in this state, nope, no way, no how, never, ever..........

Oh,oh Mayor Berry the FBI statistics you tout may have been cherry picked to fool the public and to spoon feed the local TV stations. But you cannot control the national FBI stats so AGAIN you are caught flat out telling lies. VOTERS, keep this in mind when you go to the polls today!

Glad you are making the rounds and am waiting for your cites on the Albuquerque crime stats as responsible for giving us the honor of 4th place. A mayor of a city or the governor of a state? State statistics. As you made your posts quite clear we would all like to see the cite for how Albuquerque helped raise us as a state to 4th.

Not in the top ten of most dangerous cities...

"Fifteen cities reported more than 100 murders in 2012. Alongside Chicago, New York and Detroit, Philadelphia (331), Los Angeles (299), Baltimore (219), Houston (217), New Orleans (193), Dallas (154), Memphis (133), Oakland (126), Phoenix (124), St. Louis (113), Kansas City (105) and Indianapolis (101) had the busiest homicide departments."

nm has a dang good personality crowned with beautiful sunsets, mountains, jungle, deserts views, HEY, not any State can say the same and then there's a sandstorm or two to boot. Otherwise a beautiful blue sky. We are in conjunction with the southern parts of the continent.

You need to know the difference between "Crime Rates" which is the per capita ratio and total actual crimes. They can be quite different, and politicians use the most favorable. I think the "Crime Rate" is more indicative. A small city will have a huge "Rate" for very few crimes compared to a large city.
