Recently a number of us sent Senator Martin Heinrich correspondence via his web site regardless Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel's proposal to close down ALL military base Commissaries and Post/Base Exchanges in the United States while keeping those in foreign nations open.

Here is Senator Martin Heinrich's STUPEFYING response to that correspondence, an email dated December 20, 2013, at 1:09pm , lol:

"Thank you for contacting me regarding the enforcement of state consumer protection laws against online lenders affiliated with sovereign Indian (sic) tribes. I appreciate knowing your thoughts and concerns on this important issue".

The clueless idiot goes on for 5 more paragraphs on a subject that I did not write him about and in which I have very little interest. Is it any wonder Washington D.C. is so hopelessly screwed up? These guys don't know what they hell they are doing! lol. This man is either an incompetent, or totally drunk or buzzed out of his mind.

Here's another letter, this one from Charles E. Schumer, dated November 8, 2013, under the heading: Firewall Update:

"Republicans could win the Senate Majority". "That's why, as a guy who knows a thing or two about how campaigns work, these three facts are keeping me up at night:

FACT 1: Republicans need only SIX seats to take the majority- and we're defending SEVEN seats in states Mitt Romney won last November" (November 2012) I'm only citing the first one because that's plenty.

Ah, Martin, Ah, Chuckie!, I'm an independent who sometimes votes Democratic, but seeing the way you clowns run government I can only say one thing: From your lips to G-d's ears, Chuckie! Away with you incompetent, tyrannical bozos!

really blame Heinrich, at least not directly. The blame falls on the incompetent bozos he hired to do his paper shuffling for him. He doesn't have time to read and respond to every letter that's sent to him, he's a busy man. Being on a two-year election cycle, his primary concern is fundraising for the next election, and brokering deals with the power elite (at his constituent's expense) to advance his own interests. This is what all elected, high-ranking, public officials do. But I would agree that him hiring incompetent bozos is a direct reflection of him as a Congresscritter.

You don't need qualifications in this state, if you have a jackass on your lapel. Back when Bingaman was in the Senate, even the Alibi said they could not bring themselves to endorse him. Yet he was re-elected time and time again. Nothing ever changes around here, which is why we are Number 50.

even worse because in our system of government, the Congresscritter supposedly represents the people, but the job of the Scumbag Senator is to advocate for the Federal government and all of its power.

I wrote this political snob concerning the budget being balanced on the backs of Veterans and Wounded Warriors.

He had the nads to say that it was time for those people to sacrifice something as we were all in this together and the poor civil service people had clearly sacrificed already.

He goes on to say the COLA decreases are not forever so just a bit of
sacrifice should be acceptable.

Let me see Fat Cat Senator -maybe you and your staff should take a page from that lesson - maybe you should forego your annual generous
raises and perks for several years, maybe you should enroll in Maobamacare right along with you staffs

Many of us have already given a pound of flesh - time for you fat cat
do nothing politician to get in the game and give up something for
a change.

I guess it runs in the party bloodline your top gun is a bonafide liar so everyone else in the dumb as crap party jumps on the bus,.

Reid, Pelousy, Heinreich and Udall - birds of a feather

Notice he's yet to give up anything, in fact he recently moved his home from here to DC at our expense. Maybe that's not such a bad thing given he's inability to have an original thought. None of that quad of losers have either.

do you lie so much? There was no vote on this particular provision. It was part of the bipartisan big budget deal necessary to stop some of the additional future damage caused by the ideological republicans, their corporate antigovernment sponsors and the teabagger idiots. They forced the sequestration disaster, threatened default and created a government shutdown that is costs billions of dollars to the economy and somewhere between 750K an 1.9 million jobs.

Retired people's pensions are being lost daily and the long-term unemployed are losing 100% of their safety net next week. This is a reduction in a future RAISE in an entitlement to working age people, not the disabled or older veterans. And pushed explicitly by prominent republicans like McCain and Ryan. The republicans blocked a measure to fund restoration of this benefit by reducing absolutely unneeded subsidies to their oil company sponsors

And it will be reconsidered long before it is scheduled to go into effect:.

The chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee has promised to review the BIPRTISAN budget agreement’s provision that would reduce annual cost of living increases for military retirees of WORKING AGE.

In a statement released Friday, Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., said a review by the SASC, along with the ongoing survey of military retirement and benefits by the Military Retirement and Compensation Modernization Commission, may “further bear on this issue.

“A number of concerns have been raised about the provision in the Murray-Ryan budget agreement,” Levin said.“The Senate Armed Services Committee is going to review this change after we convene next year, BEFORE it takes effect in DECEMBER 2015.”

The provision would restrict the annual pay adjustment of military pensions for WORKING-AGE military retirees to 1 percentage point less than the rise in consumer prices.

For example, if the proposal were currently in effect, the 1.7 percent COLA that will appear in January retirees’ paychecks would be 0.7 percent for military retirees under age 62, but would remain at 1.7 percent for retirees 62 and older.

Under the provision, the COLA reduction would be PHASED OVER THREE YEARS: the December 2014 COLA would be reduced by 0.25 percent; the December 2015 COLA would be reduced by 0.5 percent; and the full reduction would take effect with the December 2016 COLA for working-age retirees.

RETIREES ON DISABILITY would NOT be affected.

Another libtard lie - remember "we have to pass the bill to find out what is in it"?
How about your insurance will not be affected, if you want to keep your plan you can?
How about "what does it matter 4 Americans were killed" what does it matter!
How about the benefit will be relooked at after we approve it and before it goes into
effect.

If you believe the lies that dumb as craps like Maobama, Princess Harry, Pelousy,
Carpetbagger Udall and the half wit Heinrich then you are as big a fool as you
seem to be.

Then again your a kook aid drinker like most of the rest of Santa Fe!
