Give me a break. This guy is scum. He's a real piece of work isn't he. Someone has convinced him he can make money by doing these things, however at some point he'll trip and have to pay the piper. And they who led him astray will be off scott free. The young and the foolish.

Either way, your response has a confrontational tone and you don't want to go there. Eventually that will become a common fact for both of us. Yes, I feel inferior to an anonymous Internet poster throwing out general challenges in defense of Sarah Palin on a news forum based on stories out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. I quiver in fear of...of...um...whomever you are. I'm sure you've got superior intellect, a buff body, and have won many legal disputes with Harvard Law graduates in your sleep. However, since this is the Internet and I can make up my own visual, I'll just assume you're about 22 years old, a member of the local young republicans club, already balding, living in your Mom's basement while you hold a low-earnings wage as the annoying know-it-all-with-an-inflated-e go helpdesk guy at a 12-person firm, and that due to video game habits you haven't had sex with a non-inflatable woman since sophomore year in high school. As I stated above, your original post was generally confrontational in itself, and directed at no one in particular. As for the inane request you made, I don't like Palin, but I'm not the attention whore she is, therefore my skeletons remain my own business. Apple vs. Orange. Further, your inexperience with professionals is displayed by your challenge: The resume of anyone who has ever held a respectable level of employment won't indicate skeletons unless it's a very, very poorly written resume.(That's what job interviews are designed to bring out - skeletons and additional background information. If you're really good, the skeletons remain hidden.) If you are going to make a general challenge as you did, you should be willing to put your own information out first. Leadership by example, as it were. If you are not willing to lead by example, stop thinking so highly of yourself and merge back in with the rest of the extras on Topix.

SilverBullet wrote: Wow,,, If you don't like Palin, please post your personal resume. I'll bet you have several skeletons in your closet. I will research your background and publish it here on this thread and then we can have an honest debate about character. Palin is public figure, a decision she voluntarily chose, same for her politics. I am a private figure, not running for office and not being paid to write a book so my many skeletons will remain in the closet. Public versus private, you comprende? Palin is nothing, she couln't even finish her term as governor. She is all about herself and loved the media spotlight when it shined on her. And there it ends because she really has nothing to offer, just fluff and for some, eye candy. Hopefully the Republicans will find some real talent next time around. If Palin's on the ticket, I will vote for one of the others just like last time.

McCain did the USA one BIG dis-service. He woke up an idiot. Now we can't get rid of her. GOD help us if she represents ANYTHING in the future of politics.

It seems Palin's book contains a number of "falsehoods" as determined by some fact checking. See this article: FACT CHECK: Palin's book goes rogue on some facts, http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_palin_book_fact... No surprise, afterall she is a politician. Or was.

But in one sense McCain did us a favor, as he exposed her too. In no way was she qualified or ready for national exposure, but we know plenty of her negatives now. And it seems obvious to me that she quit as governor because she didn't care about Alaska.

I would hope the GOP tries and distance itself from her as soon as possible. NOW is better than later. She is toxic politically.

I wonder why the liberals are so afraid of Sarah. She is a breath of fresh air compared to all of the Washington crowd. I think she has a future because she can connect with real people.

I know why Palin is coming to Albuquerque. She heard that she can "see" Mexico from here thus it will help enhance her foreign policy experience. Forrest: Yeah, she connects to real people because she gives that "impression" of course it helps when you have an unmarried daughter with a child living at home (many Americans can relate), she hunts, she lies, she exaggerates, she is a me, me, me, media hog, she blames others for her problems, she is a quitter, she is whiner, she goes for the money. Yeah, she is one of us.

Same goes for the legislative dems. The repubs have people with talent that need to rise to the top, not a hick from Alaska who like Obama has little to bring to the table. As far as I'm concerned should Palin somehow make on any ticket, my vote will not follow.

I await a real candidate to emerge from the ashes. Party not important. Integrity honesty and a genuine desire to handle the PEOPLES business, not the party's or politicians is.
