OMG the police are not all that bright! That night was an all ages party!
Club seven holds many all ages partys, so now they decid to just bust in out of no where and yell at us for nothing!!! APD needs to do more research on the partys that they are raiding because NO ONE was on drugs that night obviously because no one was arrested! and for them claiming that they crashed the party because of underaged kids in the club is just an excuse if you ask me because if it was seriouse THEY WOULD HAVE ARRESTED SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!!
didnt they also close the district?

Wait, drugs were seized, but no arrests were made? "OK Danno, where did the drugs come from?"
If no one was arrested, was the bar shut down? Was the Liquor Control Board there to close it down?
What's going on?
New Mexico does not have a "Liquor Control Board." For more information go to:

The Albuquerque Police Department and Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office did not notify or request the assistance of the SID.

" The state agent Mkhitarian mentioned works for the Department of Public Safety's Special Investigation Division, or SID, which is responsible for enforcing the state's liquor control act.
The sheriff's department had received information before the raid about a possible connection.
"Based on the club owner's potential relationship with these officials and the operation being two days away, we felt it was best not to involve (SID)," Bernalillo County Undersheriff Sal Baragiola said. "We thought there was a potential conflict of interest that we didn't have time to resolve two days before the warrant."
DPS spokesman Peter Olson said Mkhitarian had recently been to an SID agent's home for a social function. He said the two were schoolmates and had recently been reacquainted.
Olson said DPS is currently "exploring" the relationship.
"We can't tell someone who their friends can be," Olson said. "But, we would expect any officer or agent to remove themselves if their friendship would interfere with an investigation."

As a former Agent of the Special Investigations Division (SID), I cannot count how many times I did not share operational, investigative or potentially sensitive information about SID's liquor law enforcement with local police agencies for fear of leaks.

Having said that, I have to ask what happened to SID's policy prohibiting fraternization with members of the liquor, tobacco, gambling industries and concealed carry firearm instructors?

As a former agent of the New Mexico Department of Public Safety's Special Investigations Divions, and as the division's and field training instructor from 1995 to 2006, I recall a policy that required to each new agent to provide full disclosure of any significant relationships or personal contacts with members of liquor, tobacco, gambling industries and concealed carry firearm instructors.

30-20-10. Loitering of minors.

Loitering of minors consists of the owner or operator of any saloon permitting a person under the age of twenty-one years to attend, frequent or loiter in or about such premises without being accompanied by the parent or guardian of the person.

Whoever commits loitering of minors is guilty of a petty misdemeanor.

I was both there at the raid and am under 21. I went merely to dance. The drugs happened, I saw it. But just because a couple of drug pushers were looking to make a buck doesn't mean the city should punish us all.

The bouncers practically gave me a cavity search walking in the door for drugs, so it was a slight shock to go in and see people lounging to the side, rolling on E.

Still, I think it's stupid to punish a group for the action of a few in the group.
