There are alot of kids in that school that thinks its cool to be stupid, and their parents think they do no wrong and its the other kids fault. Maybe some respect would be good!

No actually I haven't heard of Carma. Is it similiar to Karma?

i think when sports get good the quality of the band goes down....so do you want good sports teams or music that you can stand to listen to...kill me if i have to hear our lackluster pep band again......maybe a "alumi" pep band from back when we didn't have good sports teams.....go cardinals....

Well, I can tell you dont EVEN have a clue!! Guess it doesnt take too much brains to play sports or to figure out what leadership is, maybe thats why you dont have ANY!! now...try to figure out this post!! DUH! right back at you jack A**!

Unfortunately that's the way most kids are today. What's in it for me? Well they got their free trip now they are done.

The trip isn't free. I belelive it actually cost them $600 dollars to go this year.

exactly there was nothing free about the florida trip. having a kid that went i know it was anything but cheap for them to go and all of the kids i know that went enjoyed it other than the heat which isnt controlable as of yet. and as far as being in band just for the trip have you ever used a coupon or a buy one get one free discount? same principles apply. and its kind of hard to teach a kid leadership qualities in a town that has nothing to offer young kids.

if any of you really need to know, leadership is just another program that was started probably 4-5 years ago at HTRS, its just another program to teach "leadership" pretty easy group to get into and it looks good on your school resumes, you don't have to do that much other than a meeting here n there, get out of school once or twice during the year for "workshops" maybe its changed from when it first started but its just another group the students can get involved in
