The new release provided by the DNR reference Jerry Reetz barely scratches the surface when it describes a true proffessional. I've known Jerry for over 30 years. I've hunted with him, I've worked with him and had a beer or two with him. The residents of Wisconsin and expecially the sportsman can rest easy knowing that, with individuals like Jerry working for them their interests are truly protected. Jerry has been instrumental in providing all users of the outdoors the best service possible. He has educated youth, landowners, hunters and members of the general public. He has tackled some of the more difficult jobs those that othes didn't want to do. I've watched him remove dead fish from the Grand River, trudge through miles of marsh looking for waterfowl killed by ingesting lead shot, and patiently listen to countless individuals
complain about CWD and Toxic waste and the cost of a hunting license, all the while maintaining a positive attitude and never forgetting that he is a public servant. If the State of Wisconsin would model their recruitment after Jerry, we would all be in a better place. Jerry has dedicated his entire life to working for you and me to protect our interests. I take my hat off to you, Jerry, and I salute you for a job very well done. Keep up the good work, and thank you.
