19 people arrested in sweep for drugs

Medway agents and police swept through southeastern Wooster Friday night in a drug bust.

Amazingly good job to the fine gentleman and ladies who took part in this to clean up Wooster. I work at KD's Pizza and got a front row seat of some of the drug busts and a 4 to 5 hour police stand-off right across the street! I have noticed more and more drugs being sold around Wooster(in my employers parking lot too!) Im just glad they took the trash off the street and hope the parties involved get the fullest extent of the law. Teach these scum that Wooster is not going to tolerate this. Other than that, alittle excitment for a few hours watching the amazing tactics of the police up close and live. Thank you men and women in uniform.

I thought those people from Wooster, Ohio learned their lesson from the last drug bust in 1998, well I guess NOT. Well, the rest of those thugs need to be arrested now and get them off the streets as well. I hope the Wooster police have not stopped looking for them now just because they have arrested 19 of them. Go get the rest of them right now. This world is crazy and people do not realize it is about to come to an end. What they need to be doing is getting their house in order before God comes again. My heart goes out to those people who house's got broken into and I pray that they are safe and out of harms way.

Hey 'praying time'... pray that "Chris" reads what we wrote, about themself putting him or herself out there for realizing the retaliation that could easily take place for this forum remark they made! Because most of these arrested people are going to only have a slap on the wrist and be right back in the same pizza neighborhood!!! I'm just sayin'.

From what I can tell south east Wooster is still ridden with drug trafficking. Has this raid effected the trafficking? No. Its only pushing the trafficking to the smaller towns. Something I'm not that happy about.

When we ended alcohol prohibition in 1933 the next day Al Capone and his smuggling buddies were out of business. The same thing would happen to the drug lords & terrorists who, thanks to today's prohibition, sell 500 billion dollars worth of illicit drugs each year to our children around the world.

I really dont think anyone is going to so call retaliate because someone was watching them getting busted. If anything it's a plug for KD pizza. If that was a fact i wouldve been retaliate on a few times on some of the things i have witness. I guess some people really are wimps.

Are you saying go after the user? Sure lets keep filling the jails with non-violent offenders then complain when the jails cost so much.
You go after the seller, theres less sellers than there are buyers.
Its alot easier to catch 50 sellers than 500 buyers.

Unfortunately, for every "dealer" that was arrested, there are 3 or 4 more just waiting to step in and fill those shoes.....This drug sweep did absolutely nothing to curb the drug traffic...Less than one week after this sweep, the same neighborhood was again dealer central. I sat in my car at a Bowman St. business and watched 3 drug transactions in less than a 5 minute span go on...and this was the middle of the afternoon.....imagine what it's like after dark. Take a ride down Washington St at any time of the day and pay attention, you'll see what I mean.
