DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THE RED EYED FROG'S REPLACEMENT-IT'S PATHETIC! I AND MY MINIONS HAD GONE TO THE RED EYED FROG FOR YEARS AND YEARS AND THROUGH A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT OWNERS.FRIENDS BOUGHT FRIENDS GIFT CERTIFICATES TO THE FROG AS WE ALL ENJOYED THE SIMPLE FOOD AND THE GREAT VIEW OF THE INLET. THEN-THIS PLACE TOOK OVER. WE HAD A $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE WHICH THE MALE OWNER TOLD US OVER THE PHONE WOULD BE HONORED-NO PROB. AFTER WE HAD FINISHED OUR BILL CAME TO $34. THE WAITRESS, WHO SPENDS A GOOD DEAL OF TIME STANDING AT THE BAR SMOKING AND DRINKING BEER ON THE JOB, ACTED LIKE WE'D KICKED HER IN THE FACE WHEN WE PRESENTED THE CERTIFICATE. "THIS IS OC FROGS-NOT THE RED EYED FROG" WITH HER FACE WRENCHED UP IN A KNOT. WE ADVISED HER OF THE CALLTO THE PLACE BEFORE WE WENT DOWN AND SHE THEN CONVERSED WITH THE BARTENDER. UPON HER RETURN SHE STATED, IN AN EQUALLY UNPLEASANT MANNER, THAT THEY'D HONOR IT BUT COULDN'T GIVE ANY CHANGE (NOT EVEN IN THE FORM OF A CERTIFICATE FOR $16.00 LIKE MOST PLACES DO). SO- AFTER QUAFFING THE LUKE-WARM DRAFT BEER AND A MEDIOCRE LUNCH, THIS WAS THE ICING ON THE OLD CAKE. SEE YA BABE-WOULDN'T WANNA BE YA. EXPECT A DROP IN CLIENTELE AND ENJOY THE $16.00 TIP. MAYBE YOU CAN BUY A LIFE WITH IT! SMILE-LIFE'S GREAT!

Unfortunately, business just do not care. It is not just in OC,,but everywhere..they figure, there are more customers that will still show up , if some dont...I get sick of it..I waitress and if i ever acted like some of the servers that have served me,,,I wouldnt have a job...I love it when they automatically include the tip... the tip is supposed to be optional...not mandatory..So if you work for $3.00 an hour, and depend on the tips... EARN IT.!!!

I am so glad that someone agrees with me about OC Frog ! The actual owners are often there tending bar and I have never seen such poor service from an owner of a bar. We sat and sat and sat with empty drinks in front of us, and were ignored because they were too busy talking to friends, and smoking. They never walked the bar to see if anyone needed service. Hopefully the place will change hands again soon. Cause we left and have never been back since in 5 months ! the view is wasted on a business run like that !

in regards to the lousey service , the person with the gift card, should have just used it all on drinks, and left the horrible waitress little or NO tip. Everyone thinks you HAVE to tip...you really dont..

Ocean City's Jamboree in the Park at Northside Park last night was a complete success. The annual 4th of July Celebration had plenty of fun, food and music for all and a great fire works display.

Spend last week in OC. Great week of fun, pleasures, good people, great beach. Although weather was a little off and the ocean like a bowl of ice cubes it was still a BLAST...
...On the 4th. the fireworks were set off early to my surprise. Glad they were, since the storm arrived right after fireworks.
....Can hardly wait for this coming week-end at the beach. YAHOO!!!! see you at 5:15 Mass @ Holy Saviour Church @17th. st. & coastal hgwy.

I do. Holy Savior has Mass on Sat. evenings 5:15. I drop my husband off at Seacrets before 5 (to get in before cover charge) and pick him up outside at 6:15. Works great for us. Sometimes like last Sat., I partronize Seacrets for an enjoyable evening with that great band, The Jim Long Band.
Oh as my name states "OC Regular" every week-end in summer. Life's a beach and lovin' it.

OOOOuch, sorry about the umbrella incident. I've seen it happen many times when it's windy on beach. Never seen it hit anyone yet, although the odds are good.
Prior to this incident, did you have fun with family and friends?
.....Hey, did any one happen to see the sand shark that washed up on shore during July 4th. week-end? It was about 4 ft. in length. happened at 35th. st. and beach. My niece has pictures. They threw it back into ocean to live another day.
