This was to be exoected as he was such a coward when he killed these kids that he ran off. He has no regard for human life, therefore why should anyone care about him. Give him the maximum sentence possible.

He kills 5 people and scoffs at a 35-year deal?! This guy's got to be astoundingly stupid and his defense attorney even more so.

What I remember of this story, The girl left her place of employment with her freinds, he started chasing her. They went through a few towns and speeds got up to 120 miles per hour. Where is her responsiblilty in here to her passangers? I hate to say this with her being passed away and all, and I do feel terrible for her family as well as her passangers families. I just don't understand how she couldn't also be at fault for driving that fast to get away from him. You would think in this day and age with cell phones they could have called the police. Unless he was shooting at her while he was driving (which i hadn't heard) I don't think she should have driven that kind of speed.

Obviously, you have never been in a domestic violence situation. No doubt, she feared for her life. She was running from him trying to live. If he were not chasing her she would not have been speeding. This is entirely his fault.

Sounds like a real upstanding citizen. What did this idiot think the outcome of a 120 mph chase was going to be? My guess is society will not miss this guy. Throw away the key.

What a stupid girl taking her car to 120mph. She is responsible for her own death and the death of her passengers. Why didn't she merely drive to a police station or to her fathers house or a friends house or fire station or other public place? Why did she have to accelerate to such high speeds? She could have maintained a safe speed and still found a safe place to stop.

I'm not saying what he did was right, but he still
did not deserve what happened to him. my sympathy
goes out to all the victims families and kevin Cales family as well. This is a situation, that no
wins. 1 child lost his mother and father and 2 kids lost their father. The guy that attacked Kevin was doing 7-8 years for robbery and now he
will probably do life, what was he thinking? was it really worth it for him?

Did she have a cell phone? Couldn't she just have driven TO THE POLICE STATION and parked in the parking lot?

- she could have gone back inside where she worked and called the police.

This isn't all his fault ... he shouldn't have been chasing her, but he didn't kill her - she killed herself and the other passengers by driving at high speeds and not acting in a responsible manner.

Sorry, but he didn't kill them all, she did.

You are a moron.
Have you ever heard of cause and effect?
They did not give him 75 years in prison for nothing. He was deemed responsible for their deaths.
I'll say it again.
Goodbye Kevin Cales.
