Almost 25 years after the DEP took its "first steps" they are just now starting to be spoon fed. too many delays and no action. What a waste

so what will happen to NB's garbage? Will they pay to have it dumped in some other place? Convert to energy? Wow, NIMBY...

The print version of this article said a lot more about this issue. I am outraged that the mayor was quoted as saying we'll worry about this in a couple of years when talking about what will happen with the trash.
This is your job as Mayor. Why wait? Are you hoping someone else will deal with the issue so that you don't get stuck with the price tag?
Article missed a major major point. Taxpayers of new britain are going to get slammed as the city looks to send trash outside. The mayor should be looking now to get the best deal instead of selfishly passing the buck.
