Fire her from her job.

Let her skate on the legal issues.

She is an adult and so is the student. If the male could decide certain things for himself but had other problems where is the crime?

Falling in love and being with someone is not easy. It should be private, as long as legal, and not be a police or court matter.

Law after law is passed. So many laws aren't enforced, but overly enforced against certain "types" of people.

There should be "impact statements" presented at trial by the defense and prosecution.

How will sentencing this individual impact the individual, his or her family, and society?

Is prosecuting this citizen within the best interest of the public?

Nailing someone legally means there lives are turned upside down, their families are broken up, and maybe they will never work and pay taxes again.

There should be official responsibility. In Connecticut, I know there is almost none.

So would it be acceptable in your eyes if the teacher was male and the student was female? A teacher(either sex)should know better than to carry on a relationship with a student, even if the student initiates the interest. If a teacher cannot control themselves around teenagers and behave like a mature adult, then maybe they shouldn't be teaching.

she wasnt a teacher she was a teachers aid, and as long as the person knows what they r doing and they r content with it and what they are doing is legal then it doesnt matter.
