I am no Obamaite. It is their hospital they can do with it what they want. Just stop telling us it will be "good for us" or that it will be better than what we have now. It will be much better for the corporation. They will make much more money. As for us...we get to enjoy ambulance rides in the freezing winter to NBGH.

This hospital won't close anymore. The council board for the town of Southington has decided to keep it open. They'll keep the ER open and the other parts of the hospital will become a retirement home for the elderly. The hospital of central connecticut almost decided to construct a new emergency room on Queen Street in town, but the town council objected no and now the ER will now be open and rest of the former hospital will be come a retirement home. Construction is expected to begin in late 2015 and the retirement home is expected to open in 2017/2018.
