Rocky Hill Approves Project Labor Agreement
Monday night, the Rocky Hill Town Council voted in favor of using a project labor agreement for the upcoming $45 million Rocky Hill High School Renovation Project.

This was the correct decision. Project labor agreements are open to union and non union contractors. They use skilled trained workers and provide benefits like health care for the worker and his/her family plus a retirement benefit at no additional cost to the taxpayers. They do place a drain on our medical system and they also have retirement funds so the government does not have to provide for them when they can't perform construction work anymore. Rocky Hill, you got this right.
