Rabbi Kirt Schneider speaks at Ida church

Rabbi Kirt Schneider of Adat Adonai Messianic Synagogue will be the guest speaker at the 10:30 a.m. service tomorrow at the Community Christian Fellowship, 2804 Southwyk St., Ida, Mich . via Toledo Blade

As a former member of adat adonai, i know Kirt Schneider is not in line with Scripture. He has made himself absolute ruler of a cult and bans everyone who isn't in 100% agreement with him.

I have visited this group a few times. I am from out of town and came their to visit family.

I am curious about this comment too. I very much want to go to Michigan to view the Rabbi and to listen to him. From what I have heard, he makes a lot of sense.

I've been listening to him on t.v. for a while now and though I know absolutely nothing about his personal life or congregation I can tell you I've haven heard anything to pick bones with him about that he's said on his program. He's kind of harsh but he's from a harsh background and has had a rough time. He was a wrestler & he's funny cause he kind of strikes wrestling poses while he preaches. I've never heard him say anything out of line that I can think of and I can say that about very, very few television preachers.

My husband and I like him because we live in Amarillo Texas and he tells a story about how his family tried to "deprogram" him after his conversion & he ended up homeless, working in a restaurant and living in his car in Amarillo Texas. He's had to endure great affliction for his conversion to Christ and still endures it today from his own family and the Jewish community. Maybe he's hard on his congregation(actually the Lord's congregation) but time and age will give him wisdom. I don't really think he's a cult leader at all. Messianic's tend towards legalism so perhaps they're struggling with that issue. I don't know.

How is this guy getting away with calling himself a Rabbi? He needs to be prosecuted for fraud.

"Rabbi" means "teacher." Schneider teaches so the title is appropriate regardless of whether he is sanctioned by any official Jewish organization. He's not "getting away" with anything.

so far he is best on tv and i listen to few televangelist. he is very annointed and speaks truth in love.

I love Rabbi Schneider. People said hateful things to Jesus and persecuted Him as He gave them the truth. He was harsh on people as well! Rabbi, God bless you sir.
