Attorney Marc Terbeek was a terrible attorney--- do not use him. I was warned by one of his previous clients not to use him, but I didn't listen until the damage was done. Please don't give him one penny-- he will only add to your problems, not solve them.

I agree 100 percent. Horrible firm, so unprofessional, they give no information, they are rude and make no copies of documents for clients. Horrible mistake, worst firm i ever worked with.

Terbeek took me for thousands on a poorly argued personal injury suit, and tried to bill me for thousands more after he lost the suit. He's an unscrupulous gold digger who takes any case regardless of the merits. Buyer beware. He will take you for all you've got, and not look back.

With all of the resources available nowadays, one should research any attorney they are planning on hiring. The State Bar is an excellent place to start as it lists their credentials, education and any cases of disciplinary or administrative actions. Also Yelp is another area to check, although I have heard of cases that people have given themselves excellent reviews or others have slammed them, sometimes without cause. If you feel the attorney has done something illegal or unethical, you can also make a complaint to the State Bar.

I did file a complaint, including actual audio of an incident Mr. Terbeek said occurred, but actually did not occur at all in the manner he said it did, proof he lied to the court,, proof he billed me thousands for services and documents he didnt provide, and many other misdeeds. The Bar wrote back and said we ould retain counsel (sure, for thousands more), to bring suit agaist Mr. Terbeek, but they were not gong to subject him to any disciplinary action. Waste of time.
