Chancellor Robert J Birgeneau displaces Californians qualified for public Cal. with a $50,600 payment from foreign students. And, foreign student tuition is subsidized in the guise of diversity while instate student tuition/fees are doubled.

Affordability: Birgeneau doubles instate tuition

UCB is not increasing enrollment. Birgeneau accepts $50,600 foreign students and displaces qualified instate Californians (When depreciation of assets funded by Californians are in foreign and out of state tuition calculations, out of state and foreign tuition is more than $100,000 + and does NOT subsidize instate tuition). Like Coaches, Chancellors Who Do Not Measure-Up Must Go.

More recently, Chancellor Birgeneauís campus police deployed violent baton jabs on students protesting Birgeneauís tuition increases. The sky will not fall when Birgeneau and his $450,000 salary are ousted. Opinions make a difference; email UC Board of Regents [email protected]

Hmm...that article says 40 per cent of students have ALL of their tuition paid for by financial aid, 65 per cent receive some financial aid. That combined with the fact that a taxpayer supported education at a state college or university is MUCH less expensive than a private school...for some reason I can't feel too sorry for the poor little darlings!

Perish the thought that they would actually have to do some part time WORK to help pay for their education! Yeah I know...that would interfere with the drinking, smoking dope, parties, concerts, tweeting and twittering not to mention updating their Facebook page! God knows we can't have THAT!!!

Instead lets just use "any excuse for a riot" excuse, occupy some property we're not supposed to, invite a confrontation, break laws, vandalize property, battle the police and then cry police brutality when some non student anarchist, slacker or burned out hippie gets whacked in the head! Hey it's just like a video game DUDE and God knows we love those things! You know what I'm sayin' homie!
