California prepares for harsh realities of changing climate

A series of state-sponsored scientific studies released Tuesday warns that California can expect more scorching heatwaves, severe and damaging wildfires, emergency room visits and political conflicts over decreasing water supplies as the Earth continues to warm and sea levels rise along the state's 840-mile long coast.
