If you don't want to fall down don't go where it is slippery, right? Right! NO SYMPATHY for these bozos. If you're going to defy common sense then you deserve what you get.

They were looking for a story and got it. Typical leftists that any mistake is not theirs. Just innocent little kids. Well mommy and daddy are trying hard to bail them out again. How many days did Iran hold our embassy personnel prisoner and I bet mommy and daddy could have cared less.

Dear Iran,

I can't stand your leader or your putrid country. However, I do believe these kids are getting exactly what they deserve. Are they innocent hikers? Probably. Should they have known better? Absolutely. Now they are reaping the consequences. It is called being accountable for your actions. It looks and sounds like they aren't being mistreated. So I say keep them as long as you need to. It might help some other people make wiser decisions then they did.

I bet these liberal thinkers from Berkely actually believed Obama when he said the Iranians were people you could have a discussion with. Let them sit in the Iranian prison cell, sentence them for putting this country in a compromised position.

They wanted adventure... they got it. So Moms, stop yer whining.

Reminds me of that "entrepreneur" kid that went to Iraq right at the beginning of hostilities to sell com towers. Wandered around all alone, got captured, got beheaded. Well DUH. Let's just waltz around in the middle of the one spot on Earth where Americans were hated more than anything and let our natural charm see us through eh?

There's healthy adventure-seeking, and then there's stupid.

This is sure reminiscent of the Jimmy Carter days. I remember seeing Ted Koppel every night talking about day whatever of the Iranian hostage crisis. This administration is doing a complete repeat of Carter including destroying our economy, weakening our foreign policy and asking Americans to lower our expectations in life. Time for a Reagon Revival for America.

I just saw on CNN that those dumb-a-s-s-e-s are going to be charged with espionage and you know what I still have no sympathy for them

They crossed the border into a country that considers the USA to be it's enemy.

The only thing I'm sorry about is that going to cost the US tax payers time and money to get them out of their stupid mistake.

Hiking and sight seeing in a war zone and on the border of a country that hates the USA is down right stupid and irresponsible.

To the Hikers,

With a college education you should have known to have either a compass and map, or a GPS and known how to use the thing.

Maybe we should out source our southern border protection to the Iranians.

Tried to get arrested. Got it. Wanted some attention. Got it. Wanted to make sure mommy and daddy love them. Got it.

Mission accomplished! What's the problem?

What an aweful scenario - the thought of them returning and being welcomed as heros by their fellow idiots and the administration, a book deal, and perhaps a movie and interviews. Even anticipating this scenario will not be enough, it'll still make me sick.

Once word of the protests against detaining these three reach Iran I'm sure a very nervous Iran will do an about face and release the geographically challenged three.

all graduates of UCAL @ Berkeley......that is about as radical a college as you can find..no wonder Iran thinks they are " snooping"...and yes, no sympathy from me whatsoever. How stupid you must be for 1) vacationing? in Iraq in the first place and 2) none of those kids has rhythem and can dance a lick. Their dance video alone is enough to keep them behind bars for a couple of years. Good luck guys, you are going to need it.

that is an excellent post becaue you are 100% correct. Upon their return they will be heroes, have parades for them and yes, each will write their own book once they have completed the talk show circuit. It is so sickening...All 3 of these idiots should get a kick upside their head and be ordered to pay back all the money they are costing US taxpayers.

I sure hope these three nutjobs aren't used to weaken our position with Iran. But I'm sure we will cave because Obama is slowly giving in to whatever the Islamic countries want, under the misguided thought that they will leave us alone. I wonder who they will target with their missiles once they blow Israel off the map?

And it took a no-nonsense Republican President being elected to end the embassy siege, almost overnight. Iran knew that Reagan would have rained down h-e-l-l on them if they didn't let them go. But with touchy-feely Carter in office, why would they give in?...the Shah knew he was as spineless as Obama is today.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Scorpio

There are problems concerning money today, especially if someone thinks they aren't getting their fair share of it. Mars turns retrograde in your house of public matters, so issues from the pat will need to be dealt with in weeks to come. Sort things out quickly, before they become even more fraught.
