No one likes Orman but he was just a kid when Garrido raped that kid.
Thank god this place wasn't in Antioch. I think the APD is less able to commit to an investigation than the Sheriff.
Just look at the bang up job they did with Gressett.
Something really stinks about that case too.
The so called victim appears only to want to destroy him from running for office and has no rape kit just here say. Now the case goes away and the county tax payer pays Gressett off for ruining his career.

Antioch wants to incorporate this area Garrido lives in and it will stretch Antioch PD even more than they already are.
Time for city hall to blame it on a lack of taxes.

The chief in Antioch was already fired when he came to Antioch and will serve only a few years before retiring. He's only here to get politics done and knew nothing of Antioch before the appointment.
He OK's developments w/out hiring police like a pro and that means he believes in taxpayers paying for growth.
Antioch is a mess and all they can and have done is try to spend their way out with sneaky plans like the speculation that got us here with all the foreclosures. Police always endorse the crooks n office. Who else can afford what they want in wages and benefits.

However many cops don't live in Antioch and there are always good and bad cops just like people in the real world.
None of us want the job so by default it goes to those who can hold up to it's day to day problems. Orman should have been fired years ago, he knows better than anyone why. The chief is just along for the ride and trying to retire before the blame hits the fan.
Neither give a damn about Antioch but neither do the whores for development we have in office.

It is pretty obvious to the general public that many aspects of law enforcement dropped the ball on this case...prison system, police/sheriff depts., probation dept. How difficult was it for an opportunity to look at this guy's property from an aerial view (Google Maps), not difficult at all.

The Contra Costa Country Sheriff Office, the dispatcher and the responding sheriff's deputy should explain exactly why they shirked the November 2006 report from a neighbor that described a psychotic registered sexual offender with children confined to tents in the offender's back yard. Will the parole agent supervising the Garrido sex slave case be put in jail for at least 18 years and never be allowed to work in law enforcement again?

The women at UC Berkeley knew it taked more than a call to 911. They got the name of Garrido's parold agent and contact him directly, so that the parole agent could no longer ignore this sex slave case that sat on his desk for years.
