sgvCOG is a fraudulent enterprise.

It is where those who pay to play for government favors go to collect their prizes.

If California had a more Open Government things like sgvCOG wouldn't exist.

Glendora, California is at least on the shinny surface just like svCOG was before the books were opened up and real criminal activty was found.

Those criminal enterprise controller's in Glendora, California do their best to keep the lid on all the insider trading and deal making.

Cities like Glendora have their own police department to control all aspects of investigations etc. that come close to exposing illegal activities and warn those parties of an investigation so a cover story can be cooked up and so goes the cover up.

So sorry bigot boy,but some of us take equality seriously and not as a joke or playground for you to enjoy yourself! Says a lot about your personality and heart! Now lets vote away a couple of your rights and see how you feel then! Different story then right?
I see. Speaking my mind makes me a bigot. My Constitutional rights do not matter now, eh? No rights were removed from the gays, there were sodomy laws before Prop 8, but the laws have been getting changed to please the gays. You're mistakenly making a silly analogy. Equality is being taken seriously, but the natural and balanced and correct mating practices are being thrown away, to satisfy some small number of libertines that wish to get governmental benefits from the till. I take equality very seriously, but I do not accept changing the traditional views of marriage to provide benefits for any old pairing off of couples. Do you agree with allowing illegal immigrants to receive amnesty, BTW? Just checking on a hunch...

I'm a fan of older bikes. I don't care what brand either. I've got a Yamaha R5 (1971 two stroke street bike) and an RD400 Daytona (last year for the air cooled twins). I hope to resurrect one of these years. I made a commitment to myself to get those going last - gotta sell two other old yammie two strokes (RD350 and RD400) and fix or sell three others (RD250 x2 and another RD350).
In addition to the CB750 in my sig pic I've got another of the same year awaiting resto and a sidecar, an 76 BMW R75/6 with sidecar in the process of an engine rebuild, an 89 Honda GB500 with electrical gremlins (driving me nuts as it was running when I parked it and a couple weeks later deader than 4 a.m.) and a 98 Valkyrie that I use touring. Better than a drug addiction and much cheaper than getting into muscle cars. Gotta admit to a having a sweet spot for a '55 Chevy though.
I've been looking longingly at my bikes but don't feel up to riding yet. I've got some shoulder damage (both arms) from totalling an F350 in January. I did get a bit of a work out yesterday taking out two trees, one fallen (25 foot pine) in the high winds we had last week and the other one dead but still standing (about a 35 foot pine). Shoulders weren't too painful, but I'm glad I have a tractor to drag & lift them.
Back in the day, I owned an RD350, and an RZ400. Tough bikes, for their sizes. And I remember the truck accident and the mention of the trees...

And I still fail to see any logic what so ever in this and any posts of yours! Sure the benefits are part of what married gays want but there are many other reasons why! There are 10's of thousands of married gay family's many raising children and many married legally in the 10 or so states that allow it! All are tax paying Americans who are only again asking to have the very same rights you and I are allowed as heterosexuals in marriage! I might add there are over 1000 rights and privileges that a legal marriage affords a couple,so as I stated the benefits are part of it but by far not the only reasons that they want legal recognition from the Government and all 50 states! And as far as your question on immigration I believe that all people coming to this country should do so legally the same way my father did coming from Italy in 1905,and the rest deported immediately! Also no anchor children allowed,we are one of the few country's that allow citizenship merely by being born here! So I guess you were guessing wrong on my position on immigration! Sorry to disappoint you! Again, legally married gay couple raising children especially, should be entitled to the very same marriage rights that you and I have and enjoy as straight males, same with females! Oh,and since were talking about classic bikes as a side subject I still have and ride a vintage 1000 Kawi that the California highway patrol used to have on the old T.V. series CHP's! And that thing is as fast as greased lightning and I believe was the fastest stock bike introduced the year they came out! The times they are a changing and come this June you will be a very unhappy bigot, but you will have to live with it! So sad,to bad!

Certainly an iteresting biological state of affairs; not sure how you dela with it but hopre in whatever resolutions you found in regards to the issues you faced brought you personal satsifaction and fulfillment.
Daling, it just begs the issue: the FACTS are the existence of gay and lesbian households all over the world with the presence of children that they have guardianship over as their parents, biological and adopted. So while you can make any theories and distictions you want, its the REALITY of the situation, regardless of how that situation came about, that is important, that needs to be addressed in a real manner, based on their real needs and our real and practical capacity, in terms of our governmental social policies, to aid those famiies in their efforts to prosper with the same equality we treat all families.
The fact is hunk, children in default family situations already have MORE assistance then children in the natural family setting.

All of this begs the issue; At it's most basic essence, marriage is a cross cultural constraint on evolutionary mating behavior.

Gay couples are a direct defective contradiction of the primary goal of evolution. Literally 'unmarriage'.

All of the necessary and deserved rights and protections are available through civil unions.

Moreover, if homosexuals want validation of their orientation, establish your own relational identity without imposing an imposter relationship on marriage. Even a child can see the difference. Especially if one couple is mom and dad. The only natural ones they will ever have.

Smile.

Not much of "hunk" these days as "m'lady Natural" my legal domestic partner decided that if I really valued our life together I'd deal with my health to insure I was around a few more years. Not only am I down to 140 pounds from th 240 I'd been for years but that womyn of mine had me traipsing the side of a mountain yesterday in snowshoes.

Anyway, opinion are like buttholes etc, really bored with opinions that my life and living have blown the hell out of the validity of anyway, but a lot more interested in your personal gender identity and what you chose to do with it. Did you opt for andgogyny, choose some gender drag, or did you feel the need at all to display any sort of definitive gender personae? My own transition was from what one could say was "heavy butch" part of which is my illustrious career as "escort" to wealthy matrons in the time when gender anonymity was advantageous, plus some political ideology of symbolically assuming the trappings of traditional male as a means of saying I assume for myself the power that has traditionally only been reserved for males. A little softer, a lot less radical, not politically focused, and really getting beyond the entire idea of my biological trappings being the definer of my quintessential being. Really, what is the inherent basis of gender identiy, what's left when you are removed from the arbitrary definition mandated by social convention? Indeed, what is it to be human, especilly with the possibility to genetically manipulating humans for other environments might mean our phyiology is radically different than our present form in which we impute our human identity. Be interested in how you dealt with such issues in terms of your ambiguity.

It applies, that Prop 8 falls against Constitutional thought.
If the Prop was Unconstitutional in the first place it shouldn't have been allowed in and to be Voted on in the first place. That is what the judge is saying. Calm down. It's not like we are saying you have to be one way or another, but we are saying to look at the constitution and vote on things knowing what the constitution says.

That is the problem, we need to check ballot measure before they are put up for a vote.

I could get the signatures of enough brown eyed people to put a measure on the ballot denying blue eyed people the right to vote.

With enough brown eyed people voting it could pass

It would be found unconstitutional ( and rightly so ) and never become law.

That is the problem with things like Prop 8, which protects no one from anything, does not defend anything, does not protect anything, does not make anything better for anyone, the only thing it does is diminish one orientation to promote another. It serves no good public purpose.
