My Word: Richmond's impeachment vote just makes city a target

There are 4 comments on the Inside Bay Area story from Mar 8, 2017, titled My Word: Richmond's impeachment vote just makes city a target. In it, Inside Bay Area reports that:

Sometimes being first doesn't make you a leader, it makes you the target. And on Feb. 21, the Richmond City Council placed all of the city's residents and potentially other regional cities, agencies and entities in that position when they voted unanimously on a largely symbolic resolution to ask the House of Representatives to begin impeachment proceedings against the 45th president under the generally untested U.S. Constitution's emoluments clause.

I think it's wrong for the city council to make a statement like that. I'm a voter. I'm not asking for impeachment. What the hell is the city of Richmond thinking. So wrong.

All people who disagree with the Presdent are un-american and should be deported. If they dissent they should be deported on the same day. Disent is imoral, communist and against the constution.

Or how about the Richmond City Council focus on their own armpit of a city as they where voted into office to do. We vote for State offices to take care of the state and federal offices to handle federal level stuff. City council folks should know their place in the big picture.

How so right to the point you are. We voted for Trump with hopes this crazy country would go back to the USA we had prior to OBUMMA. May God help us in the State of Calif., where native born USA Citizens are treated like we do not belong here and are not entitled to services we pay through taxes.
