So the government knows who the illegal aliens are, what fraudulent documents they used to gain employment and file taxes under. Now they need to investigate each case of tax and document fraud associated with these illegal employees. Nothing against paper raids but the IRS and FBI need to be given this information so they can go after these criminals and the criminals who provided them with the stolen or fraudulent documents. Based on the statements by the union representative it is clear that he and other union officials knew that many of the union members were illegal aliens. They as well as the owners of the company are obviously involved in a conspiracy to acquire jobs for illegals and hide the fact that they are illegal. Iíll bet the union management received kickbacks from not only the company but the illegals that were employed there. Sadly there will be no investigation and the criminal activity that has gone on for many years will never come to light. The silent raids are just a way of making headlines that make people think there is actual enforcement. In fact the illegal aliens, the employer, union officials, and the rest of the criminals involved in this vast conspiracy that involved hundreds of people will ever see a court room let alone a jail.
Wow, DeeDee! you are very clever and I bet this is happening and has been for years back--looks like we're losing our country to all this corruption within our own country! The corruption jumped the border in many ways, it's not just Mexico now.

United Farm Workers founder Cezar Chavez was opposed to illegal immigration because he knew as long as farmers had a steady supply of cheap labor from across the border farm workers would always be exploited. Today the UFW supports illegal immigration. The only reason that they would support the farmers in exploiting the workers and employing illegals is because the union is now run by the farmers. The union officials no longer defend the workers they just keep them in line. Just like the farmers they know that it is easier to control and oppress illegal labor than American citizens and legal immigrants.
This is not limited to the UFW. The union at the steel plant in the article and many other unions such as SEIU are working for the employers not the workers. What honest union would encourage and support increasing the labor pool and decreasing the wages of its members?

The article says: "Espino, who moved to Oakland from central Mexico some 24 years ago, said he is disappointed at the slow pace of immigration reform in this country."
Translated: Espino is disappointed with the CFR's inability thus far to destroy the USA and make the North American Union, which will make Mexico, the US, and Canada one blob of real estate.
Mr. Espino, I'm disappointed and disgusted that you have so little regard for the country that you've squatted in, profited in, and committed crime in for so long. You've had 24 years to become a legal immigrant, yet you didn't do so. Shame on you. You deserve what you got and you know it. Mexifornia is still part of the USA. Go back to your own country, if you have any self-respect. I'm sure you still speak Spanish.
Disgusting. So we had that large amnesty in 1986 and he slithered over here a year later. Yet there have been several smaller amnesties since that time.

Just for using a social security number that is not his he should be deported and barred from this country forever.

He doesn't deserve to be here. He obviously thought that since they had that large 1986 amnesty there would be another large one soon after. What a moron.
