So the supporters of Lintott and Eyster can't vote because of their drug convictions (F). Seems rather ironic, and amusing.

I have also observed Finnegan in the courtroom and must say he has always conducted himself professionally and acted appropriately towards women. Unlike Eyster, who is derogatory towards all female support staff at the courthouse whenever his feathers get ruffled. Sure, he's playing Mr. Nice now that he's running for office, but don't be fooled, ask the women who've had to put up with his enormous ego and sexist attitude long before he decided to run for office. As for Lintott, the majority of the blogs seem to have it right, she's a complete moron....and an insult to both women and attorneys everywhere.

Finnegan is one of those people that simply can not accept responsibility for his own shortcomings and uses the legal system to wedge himself a place in society. I had to evict him and he tried to sue me for $5,000 for unspecified damages. The judge in that case admonished him for not acknowledging or presenting the rental agreement, so he sued his roommate over the phone bill. He just doesn't get it and I'll likely get sued for saying so.

The only employees in the DA's office that had a problem with Finnegan were the ones that didn't want their lush county job tinkered with....Finnegan didn't have a problem with women...he had a problem with people not doing their job. He respected confident co-workers that worked hard and earned their high pay. He had no tolerance for anyone running the office that lacked cajones, it just so happened that Lintott surrounded herself with women. Maybe she has a problem with men? Sounds like Finnegan and his co-workers had every right to be upset with managment. They were planning bake sales instead of dealing with real issues. DA employees are afraid of someone like Finnegan taking over the office, because they might actually have to work and skip morning breakfast at the Maple!

A voice of reason? Really?! His OWN child won't talk to him because of the nasty divorce. Really you want a leader that his own child doesn't want a relationship with his father? Doesn't it speak to the type of person you are when your OWN child doesn't want ANYTHING to do with you? Thanks - pass on Eyster too.
could the Ex-wife make herself any MORE obvious. she sounds like a Lintoot. i can see why the divorce was nasty.

The majority of employees work their "cajones" off, so that's not it. They are afraid that Matt will take the professional level down yet another notch due to his immaturity and lack of fairness he displayed while employed there.

Not true. Women who are currently working with or who have previously worked with Eyster can't say enough about how great David is to have in an office. Ask those who worked with him when he was the da man at the DA's Office or call Duncan James' office. It is simple - he sets high standards for himself and those working with him and he expects those standards to be be followed. David is NOT sexist and I personally like his self-confidence. It will serve him well as our next DA. Apparently the less-than-independent witness prefers misleading people and being an apologist for Finnegan's name-calling and trashing of people, particularly women. There's no comparison between Eyster as a boss and the other two. Don't be mislead by the spinmeisters.

And we're suppose to accept this as true why? You know this personal information how? Even if true, this is very sad for the children because every child needs a relationship with both parents. The fact that you are bringing this allegation up in a political forum makes you pond scum in my eyes. I work with children who have been damaged in divorce and this is no political or laughing matter. See Dr. Coleman's video at < http://parentalalienationhurts.com/ >.

Gee - hit a sore spot did it?
It is a poor parent that allows their relationship with their child to go sore where-ever before, during and after a divorce.
Again - if you can't even make the efforts to maintain a relationship with your children - do you really want that person in a position of power? Those of sane thinking and parenting would say no.

So what if you work with children - when did you become the expert - and if you were, why would you support someone who continues to inflict unnecessary pain upon his OWN child. Where are your flipping priorities? Definitely not with ALL children.

Don't know Eyster, have heard plenty, not much of it good-except he is reasonably capable in the courtroom and does his homework, but a vindictive jerk to work with.
For me Finnegan really screwed the pooch when he offered a plea deal to Andrew Card for simple assault instead of insisting on an attempted murder charge. This led to the whole shoot out in Covelo, because justice wasn't served.
Lintott, has been a big disappointment too. One of the only good things she has done is bring in Ravitch. If Ravitch thought Finnegan was a lazy prosecutor, then he certainly deserves to be ousted. She is a no nonsense type and a solid prosecutor, able to handle herself against any local attorney.
Sigh, I guess I want a fourth choice for DA.
