That's funny! I forgot that all three candidates have been fired from the DA's office. That's funny!
I think the Union thing was for civil service protection so they couldn't get fired without cause.
Well, I don't know about that. All I know is when the line workers were taking big cuts in pay the lawyers didn't take a hit at all because they wouldn't bargain and now I hear they want MORE money and be damned to the poor taxpayer. Deputy DA IV's make $93K + bennies a year. How many people do you know who make that much money a year?

you are such a die-hard lintott supporter, I figure you must be her hubby Scott....who has a super cush job for the City of Ukiah. Plus, it makes sense, since you both are new to Ukiah after she won due to a completely bizarre twist of fate. If you put all your eggs in her basket, then you shouldn't have any credibility....mainly 'cause everyone knows, she's a moron!

Lintott turned out to be a total disappointment and I voted for her last time. I won't make that mistake again, Matt you have my support and vote! Anybody that knows you won't put much credibility in the spin on this article.
Yet, another mistake you will make, believe me.

With all the innuendo and venom here against Lintot and Eyester, I'm thinking they're both worth considering for DA. Anonymous attacks tend to do that for me.

<quoted text>Like all attorneys who are hired "mouth pieces", all three have worked in private practice, undoubtedly representing some reprehensible people, but Eyester is undeniably the best actual prosecutor. Just ask the people in law enforcement who know all three.
What? A voice of reason on this blogspot? Eyester is the only real deal of the three. He's not the rude, disruptive influence that Finnegan has been exposed to be, he has HUGE experience and qualifications, and I hope we can agree that he's head and shoulders above Lintott. Either we vote for the best by voting for Eyester or we continue to suffer from mediocrity for the next four years at a time when public safety and our pocketbooks cannot afford to do so.

A voice of reason? Really?! His OWN child won't talk to him because of the nasty divorce. Really you want a leader that his own child doesn't want a relationship with his father? Doesn't it speak to the type of person you are when your OWN child doesn't want ANYTHING to do with you? Thanks - pass on Eyster too.

What bothers me about Finnagan is what is in the newspaper and what I know about the DAs union. He was the leader of that. What was said about Lintot and Eyester, however, did appear to be pure gossip.

I mean seriously, what business of mine is it *if* Eyester had a bad divorce? People have bad divorces all the time and it doesn't make them bad at their jobs.

No, but it just makes them bad at interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships and commitment....that's all. Jeesh.

Do you even know how to spell when the candidates names are spelled correctly throughout this article and blog? Eye to detail? No Newbie - perhaps you should return to Fort Bragg - oh wait - that's right you can't because your house is in default.

Work in a courtroom with these people, as I have and you will find the only idiot amongst them is Lintott herself!!! Very very sad. I have no particular opinion towards Finnegan himself. But in a courtroom he seemed to be professional and able to handle himself. I have watched Lintott present herself as the village idiot more than once. I think the DA should be able to represent anything or atleast find the answer. I guess if you feel threatened you can get those people fired... Damn the power!!!
This post sounds like the real deal! This reflects what I know of our court system. The courts are not doing a good job, and it is up to the DA to make sure the cases are presented so there is a win for 'The People'. Time to try Matt and see if he can clean up the mess. I know he has the heart for the job.

Yes, let's just continue to ignore the real issue with the arrogant, money-grubbing DAs union and Finnegan's involvement in it.

You're right, the attorney's were way better off being represented by ACORN, I mean SEIU, or do I really mean ACORN.

I know of Finnegan's activites during the labor strikes that he was involved in. Finnegan is an agitator. He loves to cause problems and blames others for the messes he creates. This guy loves turmoil and probably, at this very moment, laughing his butt off
