That Harris who the Dems are running for AG was the SF DI who was flying convicted felon Illegal gang members to the Inland Empire and freedom rather than turn them over to ICE.

What a horrific betrayal of the public trust!

That is the best and brightest the State Dems have for AG??? REALLY! And, they actually expect voters to pick HER?

It won't make any difference. The jobs already went to China and South East Asia. Now look at all the defective crap you can buy for next to nothing.
Like I said again Chiana and southeast asian companies are british interests the brits are hemmhoraging money. The chinese millitary can barely keep power in beijing . Support unionization inthe trade zone and back the democracy movement. Ending Nafta alone will bring back 10.2 million jobs in 1.5 years(The Economist 3/10)Increasing trade tariffs will allow U.S. farmers a foot in the world market. Remember the chinese are experiencing labor shortages they cant fill the factory jobs they have now why do you think chinese goods have gone up for the 6th straight consecutive month. Been to wal-mart?Target?

I imagine California will be following in the footsteps of great states like San Francisco, and Washigton D.C. I urge everyone to get out the vote for whichever candidate supports the most liberal minded progressive agenda. We need to tax a lot more, spend a lot more, and rewrite the constitution. So, get out there and vote for the democrats.

And you get your financial, military info on China, S E Asia, etc from where?

I've been there and the Chinese military is definitely in control.
The Brits have their businesses mainly in Hong Gong in mainland China Europe, America and other Asian companies are doing the majority of the new business. That's one of the reasons for their down turn. They are still developing their businesses every day.
They are still sending their products to other countries not just the USA.
China may become a lasting economic giant (or not??) but they will likely never be a democracy.
A whole different history and culture.
The only reason they are experiencing a down turn is because the rest of the world is.
Eventually it will go up again and so will theirs.
China will never have a "labor shortage" with over 2 billion people.
You have only expressed an opinion, so what!

I didn't say anything about a renaissance here. I said eventually there will be an upturn.
Don't try to make your thoughts valid by putting words into other people's mouths.

Boxer rebellion? Is that when the boxers in the ring take over DC?

The Boxer rebellion was:

1st a very long time ago and was against imperialist. It was when China was weaker with a weak Emperor.

2nd they are not weak today and their military is the largest in the world.
Another thing also (can be construed as good or bad depending which side of the fence your on) the Chinese people as a whole, incl university students back their Communist government. They are enjoying the best of 2 worlds, a stable government and economic freedom.

China has at this time produced more millionaires in the last couple of years than any other country.
They also have recently just passed Japan as the top dog in the world for economic trade.

Like it or not they are rolling along on top.

Join the 21st Century and study history a little better.

You're obviously as dumb as you are vulgar. Someone puts you in your place and you come back with a typical, a ss wipe reply.

You need more than a history education you also need economics, political science and of course anger management.

I don't deal with idiots like you.
I'm done with you.

Is American Political Process now REALLY just "up for sale"?
The one with the most bucks...wins?

I do not think that the founding fathers had this
in mind in 1776. But then of course ..maybe "marketing" was in its infancy as well.

SAD SAD....I will not be voting for MEG or FIONA.

Microsoft clearly would like to make life uncomfortable for XP users. In not issuing this patch, that's exactly what the company is doing.

True, because XP SP2 is at end of life, Microsoft did not have to issue a patch. But this is a serious security issue, and XP SP2 users are clearly at risk now.

Microsoft has been trying in other ways to get people to upgrade from XP. It has announced that Internet Explorer 9 won't run on XP, and neither will the new version of Windows Live Essentials.

Long live XP.

Bedbugs are taking over New York.

A poll suggests that The City That Never Sleeps is probably too busy itching: One in 10 New Yorkers has now battled bedbugs in their home.

That's twice as many as the city estimated were plagued by the pests in 2009.

The poll results suggest that more than 800,000 New Yorkers have had bloodsucking bedbugs crawling in their sheets.

Kandahar police have seized a truck carrying 17,000 kg (37,478 lbs) of explosives skillfully placed in boxes marked paint and pickles, authorities said.

The truck, with Pakistani license plates, was seized by Kandahar customs agents on Sunday as it came in from the Quetta province in Pakistan, officials said.

Our enemies use various techniques with the purpose of destroying our country, but our alert police have been defusing their plans, as you see from today's good example, said General Mohammad Shafiq said Sunday.
