Adult with Spina Bifida Guntersville, AL	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #1 Jul 28, 2008 I was told about a Pediatric Neurosurgeon at Patewood Medicial Campus, by the name of Dr. Troop.. I was wondering if anyone has had to see this surgeon or have any information on this Surgeon..I was told he was an Excellent surgeon, but would like to hear from someone who has had him as a Dr. I would Appreciate any and all Info.. I can get..Thanks...He is a pedritic neurosurgeon..

She battled a rare type of brain tumor, and he did surgery twice. He is very patient, speaks in laymen's terms, and truly cares about his patients and their family. We miss him terribly and would drive the 8 hours to see hom if our daughter needed surgery again.

Dr Troup placed her VP Shunt at 3 days old and replaced it at 5 months old. He is an excellent Dr. I would recommend him to anyone, we will see him regularly for the rest of my daughters life.She is now 7 months old and doing fabulous!!!

Everything is great, all thanks to him! I loved him as a kid and was so dad when he moved away from Georgia! Highly recommended, wonderful man!
