old guy is correct....the house did pass obamacare.
Obama's first 2 years democrats held the house, the senate, and white house with no way to stop them from anything, and they took advantage of it.
is is not suspicious that full implementation of obamacare occurs after the next presidential election?
make sure you vote for someone who erases the nightmare, and ends americas trip to communism.

I haven't put anyone down for doing menial labor. I have simply stated the obvious fact that it doesn't take much intelligence to be a delivery boy. I think it is great that there are people who will make deliveries for low pay and no benefits.
At least I go out and work for a living Welfare boy. If not for us working people, who would support you?

GovTrack’s Bill Summary
This is the Senate's health care bill. The bill started off with text regarding an unrelated matter but the Senate is co-opted this bill as a vehicle for passage of their reform and changed the text in whole to the health care bill. They do this because the Constitution requires all revenue bills to start in the House, and their health reform plan involves revenue. So they have chosen to work off of a bill that started in the House, even if that bill is unrelated.

How about Forbes that says most of the people that signed up for Commie Care were previously insured?

Seems to me that turning the entire country upside down so that just a few million could get insurance was about the dumbest idea I've seen in politics in a long time.

you made an azz out of you, but not me. Assume?

my source is government website......look it up yourself.

who cares if you believe it.

I don't lie, and equally criticize those who are wrong. Have you missed my Boehner rants, or McCain, or McConnell, or Graham, or Paul, or Rick Perry?

I thought so.

Defeating people like you at the ballot box is equally as important as defeating the nazi's and japanese in WW2.

you fantasy of fundamental change must be stopped at all costs or this country perished.

Don't fret.....those of us with cash can run away and leave you here to rot with your failed dream when there are no funds left to confiscate.

Clear enough so you don't have to assume any longer?

only 6% of sign ups paid the premium out of their own pocket.

now doctors are refusing the insurance. It discounts their pay drastically.

This entire boondoggle is a money laundering scheme gone very very bad.

The courts upholding the law forcing the state to provide subsidy leaves 14 states to foot the bill.

Ohio along with 35 others states expanded medicaid and ignore obamacare law.

Hospitals all across the country are looking at massive financial troubles, and like the cleveland clinic laying off 7% of the staff, the rest will follow with much larger % of employees.

Cleveland clinic is in top 5 of the entire nation, and they are hurt. Imagine local hospitals?

that is illegal.

Anybody on the internet can claim they are whatever. These liberals that stay home all day posting on Topix claiming they don't have to work because they are so brilliant are likely waiting by their mailbox for their new SNAP's card.
I don't buy it and neither should anybody else.
What liberal has claimed they are so brilliant that they don't have to work? The only guy who claims how brilliant and rich he is your pal Reality. You described him perfectly in that post.

Aww, Taliban Ray's fantasy of how people who aren't delivery boys don't work is starting to close in on him. It's not that we don't work, Ray. It's that we earned the privilege of having better jobs than you. I support you, Ray.

you have me confused.

The Democratic house of representatives prior to the 2010 election where lots of them were fired.....passed Obamacare on a party line vote. Not a single GOP vote.

The ACA has been unlawfully amended, and exclusions to the law...to friends of Obama by Obama. Unions as example.

This is illegal.

The supreme court upheld that congress can levy a tax to fund obamacare, and the law has many hidden taxes that take full effect after the next election for POTUS.

Due to the recent court decision where it is illegal for the federal government to subsidize premium payments, and the law specifically as written says that is the states responsibility.

only 14 states have Obamacare exchanges, and 36 sat by doing nothing with law and expanded medicaid.

since not a single GOP voted for law, not a single one will vote to amend it.

I think the house has successfully voted the law to be erased 40 times, but Harry Reid tabled the bill.

Now the chit hit the fan, and the so called smart people screwed the pooch with their own language.

Obamacare will rot un funded, and this election the senate will have a mass firing, and the house cleaned of all the rats left who signed the monstrosity.

Obamacare already looks like the VA, and has not even been fully implemented.

Make sure you elect a POTUS with a brand new eraser to end the madness, and conversion of america to socialism..

That was the original HR 3590 that was passed by the House . It was then sent to the Senate. The Senate then stipped every word from the original bill 3590 ( which was 8 pages), replaced it with Zero Care 3590, The Democrats in the Senate voted to pass the new bill they inserted in place of the original bill that was voted on in the House with Zero Care.

More exemptions made today by the idiot in chief.
The Obama administration is coming under fire for once again making a unilateral change to ObamaCare -- this time, quietly exempting the five U.S. territories and their more than 4 million residents from virtually all major provisions of the health care law.

The decision was made a week ago, and was a long time coming. For months, the territories have been complaining that the law was implemented so poorly in their regions that it destabilized their insurance markets.

I've noticed the difference already. Took me a half-hour just to get through to my doctors office.

When Commie Care first passed, I asked my specialist how he felt about it? He said he thought it was a good thing if everybody could get treatment. I asked him the same question last December during my visit, and he just shook his head and said "I don't know!"

This failure of Socialism helped some people but hurt even more. I can hardly wait until those people that depend on their income tax refund check don't get one or get a much smaller one because they didn't have insurance.

Zero Care didn't go though the House.
It went through the House via the reconciliation process, where it was amended and approved by a majority.

"On December 24, 2009, the Senate passed an alternative health care bill, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (H.R. 3590).[2] In 2010, the House abandoned its reform bill in favor of amending the Senate bill (via the reconciliation process) in the form of the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010."

Oh, man. The amendments were not after the fact. When a bill is introduced, it goes through a process before coming to a vote in which legislators offer amendments to the bill as originally introduced. If approved, those amendments are then added to the bill prior to a final vote on it. Thank you for providing yet another example of why some people's opinions on matters of government and politics are worth more than others'.
I didn't realize that the amendments were during the process, IF you are right about that.
The whole bleepin' thing was so rushed & long that I'm not sure that anyone is fully up to speed without spending 100's of hours on it.
The whole thing still passed only on party lines for some reason, what do you think about that?
